The room smelled of smoke, the rug was stained, there was black mold in the bathroom, the bathroom door was broken. There was trash (paper, food, beer cans) strewn on the grounds, in the stair well and throughout the parking lot. Someone in the parking lot sped out. I felt very unsafe with my 16 year old daughter.

No breakfst food, Pool closed for maintence and not one told us, soda machine had no soda to purchase, they lock the kitche/ breakfast doors, no microwaves onoy one was by the kitchen area and was dirty.

The hotel was not open about the set up, thought it would be a hotel however it was a motel and the area did not feel safe. Lots of people walking around in parking lot that seemed like they were “hangout out” and not staying at the hotel. Room smelled like cigarettes. Was told after that the hotel used to be advertised as a discount inn but changed ownership. All I saw was a rough paint job covering up an old venue. Was very disappointed for the price I paid for the night, spent less the next night for a better hotel down the road.

This hotel is dirty. All rooms have a strong cigarette smoke smell. The carpets were wet as well as stained. I do not recommend.

This was one of the most horrific hotel stays I’ve had in my entire life. At check in I was given two keys to my room that didn’t work. I went downstairs to get another one and that one didn’t work either. After trying for a third time, I had to get a manager to let me out every time I wanted to leave my room. Call the hotel an inn is very misleading. It really is two-story motel with filthy carpets on the outside hallways and a loud parking lot where people were partying until 3 AM. It was a transient crowd and I’m told that there are people who live in the hotel full-time. Twice someone wiggled my door knob in the middle of the night. Because I have to walk to thru that parking lot to get anywhere, I was afraid to leave my room. Right outside my door were two wet socks are on the railing that were there until I left this morning. And for what it’s worth, the pool wasn’t working. Most egregious of all though, I paid $655 for a two nights stay when the average price for this hotel is usually a little over 100 per night. Because it was visiting weekend at UNH, and it was the only hotel that had room for me 10 mile radius I was gouged. Expedia, you should look into hotels closer. I spend thousands of dollars on your site every year for myself and my clients and I am infuriated. I I wouldn’t even like my money back or a credit on your site for this. It’s unforgivable.

This place was so dirty. Cigarette burns on the comforter and vanity. Foot and dirty grease prints on walls. Price was jacked for a family college weekend. Place was a 100 night at best. Will never stay here again.

The room was filthy. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Black dirty hand prints on the door, looked like animal scratches on the headboard. Wouldn’t walk barefoot.

Don’t waste your time and money.
Travelled to the area for a wedding. There was no early check in. When we got there and got to our room it smelled horrible. It wasn’t clean and we felt unsafe traveling with a child. Carpet was ripped and everything was dated. We immediately let the front desk know we wanted a refund and they would not give us one. Very disappointed and frustrated.

The property was not as advertised. I was not aware that the property was set up like a Motel instead of a Hotel. It appeared as thought the property was also used as an extended stay facility. Didn't feel 100% safe going and coming from my room, since i was there alone. Was awoken by shoveling of stones and loud music. Amenities were not explained to me when I checked in. I did not know where to go for the complimentary breakfast, so I did not take advantage of it.

The breakfast area looked like they could have came in and cleaned and there was flies in the breakfast area. Which made me not want to have the bagels or toast. I opted in oatmeal. The hallways could have been vacuumed also.

Stayed at the Downtown Dover Inn on a spontaneous overnight in Dover NH with my daughter and grand daughters. Very clean and the front desk staff person was very helpful and lovely. Free breakfast and the pool was a great bonus. I’m going back in October and will be staying here again! A good choice at a fair price!
