We stayed in this property the week prior and had a phenomenal experience. The second time, it was sadly horrendous. Upon booking online I did not realise my search function had defaulted to 1 traveller. When attempting to check in with my husband, we were advised this was an extra per night. I was confused as this does not impact room type or require any additional work from the hotel. I went online and did a search for the same room type for 2 people and the price did not change. After dealing with a horrific front desk attendant we requested the manager. She was however dealing with another matter and we waited 40 minutes to see her. She advised the only way it was possible was to have my husband as a guest (ridiculous). I contacted Expedia who happily updated this for me and also refunded me the difference as the room night was more expensive on my initial booking for that night and included breakfast for my husband. How embarassing for the front hotel staff. We will never return.
