Great hotel!

Hotel is located in Dubai Media City and it is very close to the public beach (JBR) and other famous places such as Burj Al Arab. Hotel Media One is very modern and designed hotel with a great amenities, and the best one is The Dek on Eight, lounge/bar and club on the eight floor, where you can relax by the pool or party at night.

A contradictory experience

My wife and I are both retired and chose Media 1 as it was a few minutes walk from my son's family apartment at the Marina. The hotel was generally very good but there was an obsession with music everywhere, sometimes very loud ! We were clearly much older than the general clientele - but why does one want loud music by the swimming pool? One night there was a disco that went on to 2am and rattled our bedroom window. The manager moved us to another room at 11.30 pm. We would probably recommend hotel to younger friends but not oldies !

Noway! Schrecklichstes Hotel in Dubai! Extrem entäuscht! - unhöfliches, unfreundliches und extrem unmotiviertes personal!!! Echt extrem!!! - keine begrüssung keine erklärungen einfach garnichts! - überteuerte Preise: 1 Jägerbomb - 20€ ?! - garden Bar extrem unsauber und unfreundlich! - tische werden mit einem trockenen papier „abgewischt“ nichts wird desinfiziert oder wenigstens mit einem nassen lumpen geputzt nichts! - frühstück leider kein Buffet (corona - ok versteh ich) jedoch könnte man ein wenig freundlicher sein wenn der Gast noch einen 2 kaffe möchte. Jedesmal wird das nachbestellte vergessen oder es geht ewigs - dieses Hotel ist immer nur windig und kalt!!! Wind hoch 1000! Am pool kann man so ausserhalb der sommermonate nicht baden. ausblick auf die Palme taxi zu JBR 5-10 min grössten teils sauber (zimmer) dame beim eingang zum Pool tagsüber und am abend ist sie beim eingang zur garden bar die einzige die freundlich war und mal motiviert ausgesehen hat! wir waren so froh, dass wir für unsere 12 tägige reise nur die ersten paar Tage hier gebucht haben und nun in einem anderen Hotel sind. Für kurzen Business aufenthalt ganz ok - für ferien absolutes nein! Schrecklich... Ps; für diesen Preis hat man auch hotels am JBR, welche besser sind! Ahhhhh; vom Frühstück war noch das Avocadobrot gut, der rest naja geschmackssache! Schade, denn in Dubai ist die Küche sonst sehr lecker. Das Hotel muss unbedingt an sich arbeiten!

Unser Zimmer war leider nicht so sauber,was sehr schade war. Jedoch war das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Es hat alles super geklappt!!

Un bon rapport qualité Prix

Une excellente semaine, un hôtel très sympa et surtout un personnels très attentifs et très disponibles,des personnes vraiment serviables, les restos très bon, juste le petit déjeuner qui mériterais d'avoir plus de choix dans tout les secteurs. Malheureusement à cette période le soleil pointe son nez entre les immeubles voisins de 10 h du matin et a jusqu'à 16 h. Mais dans l'ensemble un bon hôtel.

Media One Hotel liegt an Top Lage, cooles Design und Musik

Wir waren vom 22. Juli bis 30. Juli 2013 im Media One Hotel. Das Hotel liegt knapp 6 - 7 Minuten von der Metro, welche den ganzen Weg durch Dubai öffnet. Hier im Hotel haben wir ein freundliches und sehr hilfsbereitschaftes Personal vorgefunden. Die Dubai-Führung mit dem Hotel private PW war der Hammer, er hat uns einen raschen Überblick von Dubai, was man wo findet gegeben. Ist echt zu empfehlen 4 Stunden für 2 Personen NUR CHF 100.- da kann man echt nicht viel sagen ausser SPITZE.
