Amazing hotel in an amazing location. Great pool and even better beach, we was half board with a good choice of food either lunch or dinner. The lady that does the omelettes was very good. The only negatives is how far away everything in Dubai off the palm is and the price of drinks/ ice cream around the hotel which was kind of expected but still very expensive. Overall this was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the location couldn’t be better.

Staff is excellent,rooms a bit outdated but clean and spacious. Sofas hard to sleep on and in our room it seems like it was broken. Bed was big and comfortable. The only negative was sofa and no entertainment for families but I don’t know if that is something with this country regulations. Overall I would give 4.5 stars.

The level of service from the check in staff was shocking! They have no level of customer service whatsoever. Considering they class themselves as 5 star we were very shocked! Dishad I think her name was at check in was literally a blank face no emotion no care at all. We received much better service from the guys at the valet and housekeeping. I will never come back to this hotel

Fantastic resort. We stayed in the family apartments which had a kitchenette and living room areas, equipped with fridge, microwave cooker and washer/dryer. The hotel has great restaurants and private pool and beach amenities seconds away. The onsite spa and salon facilities are amazing and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly from the cleaning staff to the front reception, no task to big or small, they are also knowledgeable of the local area so anything specific you want they can get or tell you how to get it. Again amazing time, look forward to coming again.

We stayed at the Sofitel Palm 5 years ago and we were very excited to be going back. However the hotel has definitely declined and would expect much more for 5 stars. Just simple things like us having to repeatedly ask for water to be out in our room when it was 44c outside, in the end we just brought our own. The bath plug was broken and would not fill. The furniture in lounge area was shabby and had seen better days. Kitchen is meant to be fully equipped, it isn’t. In master bathroom after the shower was run it would take ages to drain and a low sewer odour would appear. I visited the spa on one of the days, the treatment I had was perfect, as was the masseur. Unfortunately the spa was undergoing maintenance on the sauna, which was not mentioned at booking, it’s quite hard to relax on a building site, after the treatment I did not partake in any of the pools/sauna/steamroom as it was simply too noisy. On the positive the receptionist, concierge and breakfast staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. As I said you expect more for 5 star especially with the price you pay

Friendly and hard working staff who always had a smile on their faces, room was nice and spacious although the electronics needs to be updated as I could not connect my devices to any of them. Great pool facilities, nice beach, had a few restaurants to choose from. The dinner buffet was decent standard but got bored of it as it lacked choices. I would stay here again.
