Great hotel located on the Palm. The rooms are spacious and there are great number of options when it comes to pools and restaurants.

Hotel itself was lovely, good mix of restaurants and pools, beach was nice. Rooms were broadly pretty good, very clean (but some areas showing signs of a little wear and tear). Only reason the review is 4* not 5* is because we paid extra for a sea view room (through expedia) and didn’t get one, we had to complain to be moved after 2 nights. Hotel were fine about this but be careful you get what you’re paying for as between Expedia and the Hotel, someone is not reflecting that accurately.

The property itself was good. Rooms could do with a bit of upgrading although overall cleanliness and facilities were good. Breakfast buffet was repetitive and boring even though the selection seemed big, it felt like there was not much options available. The table service at breakfast was also a bit shambolic as the waiters will mix up the hot drinks orders or will make you ate for ages for the drinks. Also they should have more than one drinks station or they should offer water at the table. The swimming area was nice, however it was always very crowded and children jumping into the pool. There should be a separate adults pool for relaxing and a reservation system for poolside beds.

Wonderful stay in the Sofitel on the palm!

We had a wonderful stay in the Sofitel we felt valued & cared for by all the lovely staff we booked the premier lounge & this was just the best we have ever had. Staff were so friendly & nothing was any bother to them.
Large most comfortable bed beautifully made up every day!

Great location for a quiet relaxing break. Loads of sun loungers around the pools and on the private beach. Never had a problem getting one. Good dining options with lots of restaurants. I booked an ocean view room but if I was staying again I think I would go for a palm view as this gets more sun. Felt safe as a solo traveller. Would happily stay again.

Low rise on 3 levels so not like the other very high rise hotels nearby. Gives hotel a more homely scale and size. Staff are all fabulous and helpful. Palm view back towards Dubai is a great feature especially at night. Laguna beach bar sun set during happy hour sat in comfortable sofas is a must. Sand on the beach is just perfect specification chosen not to stick lol. Restaurants are expensive but good quality. Free bus into town is 40 mins and picks up at other hotels and only drops off at the big shopping Mall. Taxis quicker for approx Aed 50 or £12 uk you can easily get to Dubai marina and multiple bars and restaurants. This hotel is very relaxed and favoured by families with young children but has adult only areas as well. Birds are a bit of a problem feeding off tables at times. So if you have a Hitchcock phobia, be aware at any hotel this happens on the Palm. On the whole I preferred this 3 floor hotel rather than being in a massive high rise hotel waiting for a lift on floor 25… way more chill and easy.

Staff in the Manana breakfast buffet dining space were amazing, huge praise for them. Staff at front desk could learn a few things from them.
