This was my first time staying in a hostel and I had pretty much zero issues! I slept surprisingly well and the breakfast was great. It’s also extremely close to the bus stop and train station
Fine. Hostel. No towels. Area a bit rough but not unsafe or in suburb etc. I find it expensive for what it is. I would have paid more for a better place. Pod room with private bathroom. Clean though.
This hostel is probably the best one in Dublin (I have stayed in most of them). The pod beds give you a bit of privacy while still getting the hostel experience.
You are directly beside both the luas and train station so there is no walking needed to access transport and get around. It’s also very quick to get to the centre of town from the location.
The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. First time traveling alone and they made me feel comfortable finding my way around. Most things were a short walk away and the tram was nearby as well.
I stayed in a 10-person female dorm. Most of the time there were 4-5 people in the room and it was very clean, no clutter or food/drinks. Everyone was very respectful and I made some friends! :) Felt private in the nook beds and with the thick curtain. Bathroom was nice, cleaned once a day. The staff downstairs were helpful as well. In unfortunate news - I was warned by one of the girls in my room that there is a number of men downstairs that sometimes do security for the hostel and sometimes stay the night and that the guy she talked to was being very creepy. I will say the area is on the same block as a garda station and a noisy pub. It's close to a giant transport hub which is nice for transit but someone in my room did get robbed at the bus station. Not an unsafe area by any means, but good to keep your eyes peeled.
This is an excellent hostel! I am a bit older than most of the kids about and I felt perfectly at home. Clean with a good vibe. The beds were comfortable and the pods are nice. The downstairs bar and sitting area are fun! Lots of friendly people and staff coming and going. Everyone is right about the breakfast! It's quite good and really inexpensive for Dublin. Have breakfast here! The desk staff are always available and super friendly. They take security seriously here too!
I like the bit of extra privacy you get in a pod. & the fact you dont pay a premium for being single. Everything was clean. Nice bar, nice staff. Great location. Have stayed before, will probably stay again

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service
I booked a 4 room and didn’t receive that. The lady behind me booked an 8 room and got into a 4 room. Be careful what you book and pay for because they don’t seem to uphold it. I was promised a refund that never came.
