We enjoyed the quieter area rather than staying in the heart of downtown Dublin. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the location was a 15 minute walk to St. Stephan’s Square which was enjoyable. Only thing that didn’t work was adjusting the heat/AC and the espresso machine wouldn’t accept the coffee pod even when I tried watching a YouTube video on how to do it

The hotel was in a quiet part of town. The rooms were clean spacious but did not have much storage space. Beds were comfortable. The lounge pub had good food and drink and was reasonably priced. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good. There were always taxis outside. The best part though was the service. Every person we dealt with was pleasant, welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have stayed in many places in Dublin but for the value - the Mespil is the best!
