We stayed at the same hotel brand in a different town the night before and this location was twice the price and was much less nice and not near as up to date. Would not stay at this location again and we travel to area at least once a year

Beautiful hotel and beautiful views on Lake Superior. Our room was spotless and the bed and linens were plush. Enjoyed our stay and the proximity to restaurants and shops was a plus!!

The hotel is lovely. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It would have received 5 stats across the board, but the elevator was broken during our stay. We definitely got our steps in!

Enjoyed this hotel and would stay again. We did not have a water view, but with how little we were in the room it didn’t matter to us. Clean hotel and courteous staff, easy to get all local areas. The only complaint, and it isn’t the staff’s fault by any means… the king bed was essentially a rock. Both of us slept poorly due to it. Heard others complaining as well. But next time would want two queens to see if it would be any better. But overall, perfect.

This is a very nice property, right on the lake. Nice sitting areas outside. Beds are comfortable and rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, but add some bacon, not just sausage.

Cleaning staff decided to get early start at 8:30am began knocking on doors and bumping around in hallway with cart. Was upset myself & young child who was up until 1am especially when we were hoping to sleep until right before check out. So it seems the hotel is in a hurry to rush out paid customers 2 hours prior to check out & being woken up by knocking on doors at that time with check out at 11am after paying a rate of over 300.00 for less than 19 hours one would hope to not have to be woken up by cleaning staff early in the morning. Not worth the money wish I would complained more to be honest I been upset since.

It is close to all activities on canal park. There was a smell in the room. Had to open windows every once in a while to get rid of it.
