Good location. However the first room we went to had mildew and a very nasty shower. The wood headboard needed cleaning. They moved us to a different room but the shower still could have been better. I chose the hotel because Expedia gave them an excellent review! The back entrance was also very cluttered.

Staff is efficient and friendly but too few of them, so check-in was delayed with room not ready. Room itself was clean and bed very comfortable, but too many dogs were inside this hotel, so we will not be staying here again.

For a sold out weekend, the hotel was completely unprepared! We drove 8 hours, arriving at 6:30pm only to find out our room was not ready (along with dozens of people waiting in the lobby) due to understaffing. The bathroom available (because we couldn’t get into our room) was covered in water from swimming pool users (kids) dripping everywhere. We were told we would be notified of our room being done and two hours later, no word. It was ready but no communication (probably due to the lobby full of guests waiting on their rooms). The bedding was thin and very polyester-y feeling. Doors all around us slammed shut, waking us multiple times. Even the shower doors were loud. Nothing relaxing or thoughtful about this hotel. To think the room was $265/night is plainly UNACCEPTABLE! I will NEVER stay at this property or any other LaQuinta again.
