I now know why this place gets such a high rating. It was clean and open. We happened to have a wheelchair friendly room even though we did not need it. The thoughtful design and touches to make it handicapped accessible (also for blind and hard of hearing) was really impressive. The breakfast buffet was impressive as was the hard working people busting their behinds keeping up with all the hungry visitors. It was also dog friendly because of the lack of carpet. Reasonable pet rates. The mini market it the lobby (available 24/7) including wine and beer was so convenient. A great find when visiting the Duluth area and campus.

The room was super humid, we felt sticky while trying to sleep, and when I put my Birkenstocks back on in the morning, they were wet & sticky from the humidity of the room. Air conditioning did not help. Also, the breakfast was very disappointing.

Close enough to downtown and very modern with delicious breakfast. I stayed towards the end of the trip and check out at noon is good. The lobby has many lounging area that I can hang around & very clean facility overall.

The public area is very inviting with a pool table, mural and board games. Both of the mornings we had continental breakfast it was very good, especially for a hotel breakfast. The pool was clean and our kiddo enjoyed. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is a well thought layout with a lot of pugs and USB ports for all your devices. We were very impressed and enjoyed our stay.

Stay was great except for checking in. The guy checking us in couldn’t get our credit cards to work for the security deposit hold. Finally after trying 4 different ones. Got one to work… we thought something was wrong with our cards but nope. We bought dinner with one of the cards he claimed was declined… other than that stay was perfect. Great breakfast. Great location
