Overnight stay

We stayed for one night in mid August. Quick & easy check in. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked someone's garden, it was very quiet at night. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a good working tv. There were lovely thick fluffy towels in bathroom. We had a bar supper at the hotel which was served quickly, it was very tasty and restaurant staff were pleasant & attentive. There is a T esco express along the road. Not far from town centre - we did drive. Convenient for Edinburgh. If in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Good location

I stayed at this hotel a few times as location is very convenient. This time though was dissatisfied with bathroom cleanliness. Also uncooked and cold full Scottish breakfast was an utter disappointment.

Great hotel in Dunfermline

Pros: Breakfast, room, heat and general comfort.
Cons: Operating instructions in the rooms.
Location: Excellent location.
This hotel is very comfortable with good sized rooms, excellent breakfast and clean and neat. I had two small but irritating problems, the bedroom door was loose so it rattled all night if someone opened another door in the corridor. This was fixed immediately I reported the problem. I could not get the shower to work! When I went to recption the lady produced a photograph of the shower mechanism and showed me what I was doing wrong - wouldn't it make sense to have operating instructions for showers, TVs, WiFi, etc in the room rather than at reception??? However, it remains a very nice hotel at a reasonable price with easy access to both Dunfermline Town and the main arterial routes.

Excellent, I would recommend this Hotel.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The breakfast was priced too high, so we chose to eat out.
Location: The location was not too far from Edinburgh + Airport, there were a good selection of places to eat near by and a Co op which was close by.

Pleasant overnight stay

Pros: Staff & food
Cons: Soundproofing due to some very noisy guests.
Good value for money hotel. Very nice staff, good bistro meal and excellent breakfast.
