Lovely Hotel

Pros: I Love the granduer of this Beautiful Hotel...High ceilings ..a Beautiful restaurant with large windows with views of the pier, sea and palm trees.
Cons: Nothing....everything is very well run. Only one thing we miss is our Kingsize Bed....when we stay in hotels they seem to only have double beds.
Location: This hotel has the best Location in Eastbourne...its opposite the beach...near to the pier. In walking distance of the town and theatres.
I would recommend this hotel to family and friends...Well run hotel Staff are very friendly and helpful. When we stayed 10-13th September the hotel had 2 coach parties in and the restaurant staff coped really well..it was very busy as all the guests seem to arrive in the restaurant at 8.30 am. The staff were pushed as they are short staffed and they were Brilliant....plates ran out and replaced very quick. Waiters were very polite and responded very quick. A credit to the Hotel. Our Room was overlooking the sea and it was Lovely to wake up to hear the sea....the view is beautiful you can see the Pier from our room and the Restaurant. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon the Band was playing at the Bandstand....we opened our window and could hear it from our room...while enjoying a Cup of tea. Hospitality tray was very welcomed. The Hairdyer in the room was excellent as i had forgotten to pack mine. Entertainment on Tuesday night was Lovely...enjoy a drink in the Lounge area. Lovely 4 days.

Ideal place for a holiday

Pros: See above. But the staff were particularly helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing we could think of.
Location: Beach, pier, shops and bandstand all nearby. The Broadwalk Cafe a hidden gem on the prom.
Fantastic location on seafront with pier and shops close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Optional set menu dinner good value. Rooms are comfortable with complimentary toiletries and generous hospitality pack.. Public areas in the hotel light and spacious. One thing to note - like most buildings of its age and design the seafront entrance has steps and inside there are several internal flights of stairs. This wasn't a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues would be advised to check with the hotel to ensure there is a room available to accommodate their needs.
