Nice location. Easy to get to Old Town and New Town as centrally located. Friendly front desk. Parking not convenient but car park available if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. Rooms are small with minimalist vibe. but clean and comfortable. Loved out time in Edinburgh!

Location was perfect, convenient walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do, includi g the train station and bus from the airport. Rooms were comfortable and cozy, bathrooms were very well appointed. Lobby bar had a pleasant vibe. One elevator was out of service so stairs were difficult to negotiate with luggage. I can't imagine how someone with mobility issues would be accommodated. All in all we'd recommend it and consider staying again.

The ideal location in Edinburgh
The perfect location between Old Town and New Town. It was a quant hotel with easy access to transportation - the bus from the airport dropped us off just on the bridge across from the hotel. It's a bit of an odd layout and it was a bit of a maze to find the room. But it was comfortable and we'd stay there again!

Great location in Edinburgh
Great location. Room was adequate size and has a good bed/linens. The continental breakfast was well appointed with plenty of options. Would totally stay here again.

Staff not so friendly at the desk but the other staff for house keeping were very kind. Breakfast was not worth it given all the many options just steps away. Room had no control of temperature. For us that is tough we like to sleep cold but it was hot and muggy in the room. We only had a skylight window to open but it closes by its self during the night. No circulation in the room which was rough after showers

Great stay! Highly recommend!
Perfectly located on a block from the Royal Mile. Loved being able to walk to food, shops, and attractions. The hotel itself was great! Loved the Scotland plaid decor with a little flair. Fun lobby! Enjoyed several drinks at the hotel bar that’s open late. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Nothing negative to stay. Don’t question booking here! We stayed 4 nights and it was great!

Location, location, location - 10/10
Comfortable, well appointed rooms; great bar and lots of comfy seats in the lobby; the main highlight was the incredible location near old town - you’re in it! Also close to bus, train and tram lines. I’d definitely rebook the next time I’m in Edinburgh. The staff were also lovely. Safe, clean, not cramped.
