Just had an overnight stay. The Ocean Mist is a fabulous unique boutique hotel. Staff were exceptional. Room and facilities first class. Buffet breakfast was to a very good standard. We will be back.

Great experience. All of the staff were professional and courteous. The ship is clean, well maintained, offers plenty of amenities and cozy sleep. My only irritation was the lack of parking. Parking tickets totaled 150 pounds for three violations.

Note - this hotel is actually a boat
We did not know this hotel was a boat. However, upon arrival service was excellent, ambience fantastic, and continental breakfast was great. Our room was below and only had high portholes. Room felt small and had a slanted floor. There are other rooms that may be larger with a better view.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in what is probably the most unique hotel in Edinburgh. The ship is elegantly designed and our stay was wonderful. What truly set things apart were the staff. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. Everyone. The breakfast was very nice and the bar’s combination of atmosphere and drinks makes the stay worth it alone. It should be noted that some rooms are small, it’s a ship after all, and quite humid. We we advised was due to being below the water level which made sense. I would happily stay again for a couple of days!

What fun it was to stay aboard the Ocean Mist! We weren't sure what to expect when we booked our stay, but we're so pleased with everything about our experience. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There was free parking right at the site--a real plus! Our room (berth) was spacious enough, very nicely appointed, and had the most comfortable bed with lovely linens. I wish I had them at home! We would stay here again!

What a fantastic experience, I can’t say enough about this property. Wonderful staff, top notch rooms, and the bar has phenomenal drinks. The breakfast was especially ornate.

A unique and beautiful hotel on the water with amazing restaurants just steps away. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We will definitely book the Ocean Mist again!

Had an absolutely amazing family weekend in Ocean Mist. The boat was absolutely immaculate. The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The location is superb, fine dining nearby, superb drink selection and continental breakfast lovely too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely being returning

Wonderful unique and historic property. Has all the modern conveniences one would expect of a luxury hotel (with the exception of a television- which I did not miss). Great location to explore Leith.
