Fantastic room - premium double - bed was really comfortable. Large free standing bath was beautiful. Good selection of toiletries and GHD hair straighteners. Bang in the middle of beautiful Edinburgh.

Old town hoyel

Pros: Good rooms, personal service
Cons: More varied bar menu
Location: All the usual Edinburgh tourist attractions, the hotel is excellently located half way along the Royal Mile
A good hotel in the Old Town, good central location for sightseeing and the usual tourist attractions. Five minutes from the train station. Rooms are very good with modern bathroom, clean and decent amount of space. Bar menu was a little limiting but the staff were great and always willing to help. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our break.

Different but great

Pros: Quality accommodation with nice touches like complimentary drink offered on arrival and chocolate strawberries in the room.
Cons: There is no lift so if you have a problem with stairs, that may be relevant.
Location: Great location, right on Royal Mile so very convenient for all that Edinburgh has to offer. Easy walk to Waverley Station in less than 5 minutes.
Stayed here midweek. There are only 9 rooms over three floors with the pub facilities below, so no traditional hotel reception, lounge etc. This didn't matter to me at all. The top floor room I had was very clean, with quality fittings and a huge very comfortable bed and super bathroom. Staff were all very good and the evening meal I had was very nice too.

Well deserved break!

The room was beautiful and well located in the street. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the breakfast was lovely however, the hotel charged my card £120 when we had left even though the bill was clear! They state that this was a glitch however my card should never have been charged hence the low overall score.

Super um Edinburgh zu erkunden

Hotel sehr zentral,nettes Personal,super Bar im EG hat bis 3.00 offen:0) Preis eher etwas hoch,doch dafür ist man am Puls des Stadtlebens. Ich würde trotz des Preises immer wieder dorthin gehen.

Perfektes Hotel um Edinburgh zu besuchen

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um Edinburgh zu besuchen. Eignet sich wegen der zentralen Lage schlecht für die Anfahrt mit dem Auto.
