The automatic sliding door was busted coming into the place upon check-in. The carpets were sticky. The floor was greasy and the place smelled like weed smoke.
the room smelled like cigarettes and the carpet was dirty. lighting fixtures were rusty and the air unit looked like it hadnāt been cleaned out in a long time
I had originally tried to call the place during normal business hours to let them know that my flight into Raleigh was delayed and consequently I would arrive in Elizabeth City quite a bit later as well, but no one answered. Upon driving over there and arriving at almost 3:00 am I was hoping to at least rest for the remaining 3 hours, take a shower, and then go to my business function, but no one was at the desk. I tried ringing a bell that was opposite the desk, but with no success. I then slept in the corner of the parking lot out back until I had to get up and get going.
Things like this happen and I am not soured, nor would I let it affect my next stay even if it happened to be at the same place, but this particular experience wasn't good.

Overnight not bad, convenient for my one night stay. However I was charged double. I spoke to management about additional time to complete my conference call and was told it was fine.
This was the most disgusting hotel Iāve ever slept in. Almost considered sleeping in my truck. Do yourself a favor and do not use a black light. It was everywhere, all over the sheets, pillows, floor. Mold everywhere you look. Absolutely disgusting.
I arrived at 7pm. She says, Iāve only got two rooms at your price. The elevator is broken, you get the 3rd floor. Carry your bags up stairs. I said, do I get a discount? You purchased from Expedia so I canāt do anything. I was treated WORSE because I purchased from Expedia vs direct!

Not a good stay
Bathroom door falling apart and would not open far enough to make using the toilet comfortable. Room with all lights on very dark.
Checked into Baymont had to go to the bathroom due to long car drive. The person at the front desk replied it only for employees. So I proceeded to check in. Go to the room(209) went straight to the bathroom. What did I see. A roach in the tub. Went back and informed her what I seen. She relocated me to room 211( next door). Wife complained that the room smells like smoke. Went back downstairs, this time they gave me room 311. It wasn't the best. But we were tired.
The lady at the front desk worked with us. No problems with the staff.
Went downstairs in the morning for breakfast. And to my surprise there was no breakfast. Only coffee and tea served all day.
The outside of the hotel looks nice. But the rooms need help.
The property was obviously a merger, but the sign was covered in a cloth, there were holes in the walls, they smelled like smoke, the staff behaved like they did not want to be there or be bother by their own patrons, and the bedding didn't appear to be clean
The hotel is adequate, relatively clean, the only issue I really had was. This was the second hotel, and not the same chain, but once again, no remote in the hotel room and the front desk was unable to provide one. Thankfully, I had my tablet with me and use that instead.

Checked out shortly after seeing the room.
Very small room and dissatisfied with cleanliness of the room, small bathroom and darkness of hotel all over.
Hotel is run down.
Faintly smelled like stale cigarettes, the room didn't have a desk. The mattress sank down in the middle. There were greasy finger and handprints on the headboard. It was livable, but by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
