Disappointing
Although the grounds and the adjacent golf course are very well kept, the hotel itself shows its age. The rooms are dark and haven't been renovated in years. The breakfast food is cheap and doesn't offer much choice at all. Even worse, service is poor, starting with check-in and the front-desk, and not friendly at all. I had made a second reservation which I canceled after our first stay to move to the Wyngate which was a much better experience.

We had a great weekend get away in Ellicottville. The fall festival was much bigger/busier than expected. Lots of crowds. The accommodation were nice and out of all of that but still a brisk walk down town. The inn and communing properties had plenty to do and the grounds were pretty this time of year.

What a great place to stay for fall fest. They have a bus that runs pick you up right at the front door takes you to town takes you up the hill to the ski lodge. They have free breakfast included. That would be the only thing that I wasn’t crazy about is that got there at 9:30 and breakfast was not replenished there was really nothing there But the room was clean. It’s got a cute little patio out the back door of the room. the outside pool area with the indoor /outdoor heated pool is beautiful and the people that worked there super nice.

Gorgeous property. Staff were informative and welcoming. The rooms are clean and updated, and very large. They really thought of everything in the rooms, and accommodate all seasons of activity. Parking was easy and a lot of it. Breakfast was good as well. I would highly recommend this property.
