It's Ely at night on a weekday. Not much going on. Bristlecone is the best place in Ely in my opinion. Mexican restaurant next door is good and rooms don't stink of cigarettes or pot like the other hotels.
I always stay here when traveling to/from family in Elko. If they don't have a vacancy, I push on to Elko/Vegas.
My only regret this go was that I arrived late and was put in the room closest to the highway so I had some noise but managed to sleep anyway.
Breakfast was included, but only included two types of dry cereal, coffee, two types of juice and two types of bars. No fresh fruit or anything hot, like eggs. Our room was near the street and traffic woke us up all night long. I would not recommend this hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Bristlecone. The staff were very friendly. The room was dated but very clean. Mexican restaurant across the street was excellent.
Not up to date with accommodations. Had no usb plug ins. Couldn’t find an ice machine, was in the office which was closed. Thought they said there was breakfast at 6am but office was closed. Left for work around 6:20 am
This is a great place to stay. The staff and owner were exceptionally nice. There was a small grass lawn area right in front of the row of rooms I was in - so pleasing after a day of high desert driving. The continental breakfast was typical, except the fruit, including wonderful tasting mandarins, was actually ripe, unlike every other place that I've stayed on my long trip. The room was very spacious - a nice break from being in my car all day. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in Ely.

Although it was not the motel’s fault, there was a bunch of homeless people standing around when I arrived. The motel property itself seemed okay but I did not feel safe to get out of my car as one lady was swearing so loud and I couldn’t tell if she was talking on her phone or to me.
