Our stay at the Baymont Hotel in Erie was very enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-In was easy and efficient. Breakfast was good.

We are from Southwestern Ontario and stay here about 5-6 times a year. We love the shopping, casino is across the street, the breakfast is great, coffee is fresh and hot and the best part about this place. The staff are awesome. 7mns away from Peach Street, and about 90mns from Buffalo. See ya soon.

Check-in was not good. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30 even we had reservations. We were told to come back in 45-50 minutes. When we did get to our room the key cards wouldn’t work so we had to go back to the front desk. On the second day of our stay, our room was never attended to. We had to go to the front desk to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. While at the front desk, another person was also asking for clean towels since her room had not been attended to either.

The hairdryer was not working, ensured it was plugged in , pushed the reset button, the test button etc. Then called front desk and she said she can’t do anything, she has no clue where the hair dryers were and no clue as to where to look. I asked for maintenance.. she said no maintenance worker. I said my hair is wet and my kids hair is wet . She said , I don’t know what you want me to do. Honestly, maintanace should be on site . Or available. This was just a hair dryer what would happen for a bigger issue. But everything else was ok . Breakfast was ok and appreciated.

There was several youth hockey teams. Breakfast was noisy and over crowded. In the evening the music was blaring and kids were playing hockey in the meeting room. One night they set off the fire alarm. The carpet was dirty and stained in the bedroom.

Not meaning this as a complaint but as a suggestion... I had a double queen standard room. I was pleasantly surprised how big it was. Since there were two of us sharing the room, it would have been nice to have had an extra chair in the room. I also thought the breakfast area was quite crowded and could use a little more room.

Good with exception
We came into the hotel, after a long drive from Cooperstown. It was very noisy, upon entering because of a big hockey group. Noise was supposed to be ended by 10 pm, but continued till at least 11:15, when I had to go to the desk and find the clerk to have him talk to the noisy group in the lounge area. The noise was reduced after that, but another thing, My channels 2-10 were scrambled and could not watch them. Mentioned to clerk the next day, but he said nothing. Please do not allow big groups to congregate till 11 pm in the lounge.

Was not happy with house keeping They came to clean the room and just walked in while I was in the shower I asked her to come back in an hour and was told it's now or tomorrow The front desk was no help I felt like I was ignored Later in the day when I asked for clean towels I was told house keeping was gone for the day and I would have to wait until the next day I tried to tell them about the mold in and around the shower and was told that was normal and it can't be cleaned My over all experience with this location is poor at best Next time I'm in Erie I will stay somewhere else
