No soap?? So much for basic hygiene.
The hotel had no soap and no shampoo and were “waiting for a truck” to deliver new soap and supplies. The main areas were in desperate need to vacuuming. The night manager who checked us in didn’t say a word about the lack of soap. That’s basic hygiene. How were all these guests washing their hands before touching the breakfast food? What manager doesn’t make the decision to go to the dollar store and get enough soap to get them through to their next shipment? Just wild.

This is a very clean, quiet hotel however I booked a king room but ended up with two queens instead.

The room was dark. I wouldn’t shower in the bath it was so stained. The door wouldn’t open all the way. I can say the reception staff were pleasant and efficient and it is conveniently located.

Obviously the hotel is being remodeled so perhaps it will improve. It is also convenient to this part of time. We had to switch rooms because the heater didn't work in the first. The beds were comfortable. Trash pickup throughout the hotel needs to improve. At least one of the employees smoked marijuana near the building with the smell coming in our room and the hallway. Also, in both rooms the tub & shower needed bleach to eliminate the mold/mildew around the edge.

Needed a place to stop for the night and this hotel had decent reviews. Desk clerk was welcoming and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was your standard free breakfast but it was good.

It’s truly the “little things” that make a difference to make you comfortable when you are staying in a hotel. Things like having enough carts to accommodate people checking in, enough towels/washcloths, hooks to hang your towels, either cold or hot rooms… all these things occurred in just one night stay. My sisters room didn’t have a remote to her TV.. the front desk folks are rude, rude to us and argued with another guest over a bottle of water!? Like a screaming match over just a bottle of water… go elsewhere-for what you pay to stay here-you’ll be irritated and disappointed and dissatisfied.
