We spent two nights here while we were on the Camino. It was very popular with pilgrims. The rooms were very clean comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a pool and bar which offer excellent bar food as an alternative to the restaurant. The bar staff offered outstanding service.

Loved the room and the pool. The staff in the bar was excellent and attentive! The front desk staff was not as nice. Could not find my reservation and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He told us we would be able to check in early and had us wait at the bar…for two hours, the original check in time.

Suave Mar was fabulous! Perfect location on the ocean with lots of free parking on the street. Wonderful breakfast with friendly staff. Room was immaculate with daily housekeeping service. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel with a very nice pool and good breakfast. Excellent service, the front desk always knew our names. Bartenders were attentive and skilled at mixology. Would recommend!

Great hotel in a great location
This hotel, with a charming exterior, is all class inside. The rooms are well kept, as are the common areas. The breakfast buffet is tasty and well stocked, and the in-house restaurant a fine Portuguese dining experience. This would be wonderful hotel regardless of location, but to find it within walking distance to Praia de Esposende was a bonus.

Excellent Value for money
Hotel is good value for money, clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and speak very good English which helps as my Portuguese is non existent. Breakfast is ok, bar and restaurant is excellent. Location is good for water sports and the beach with white sands is a 5 minute walk away along the sea front. Not much else in the locality to do for children to keep them entertained but the hotels pool may help.

The staff were amazing couldn’t do enough to help. Food options were limited at breakfast and same every day. The pool was gorgeous and room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and beds made. Fabulous hotel
