Ideal holiday with or without children. This townhouse is set in beautiful tropical gardens with a large, communal swimming pool within a secure, gated urbanization. The house is furnished to a very high standard, with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus one toilet/washroom downstairs. The en-suite bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, and the bathroom has now been converted into a very modern WET ROOM with a luxurious, spacious shower. The second bathroom has a bath, shower & bidet.
There is a private patio at the back overlooking tennis courts. Sun lounger beds and cushions are supplied. Each bedroom has an outside balcony and also window blinds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a new washing machine, fridge, oven, hob, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and 2 coffee machines and all pots & utensils necessary for self-catering. (Iron and ironing board also supplied). The very spacious, marble floor through-lounge has large, very comfortable sofas, a large, HD flat-screen television and DVD player, equipped with lots of DVDs to watch. There is also a stereo SOUND BAR, so you can play all your own music from your mobile via Bluetooth. All rooms have AIR CONDITIONING, and heating for the winter. Guests are requested not to leave this on when leaving the house. Nevertheless there is a timer installed to turn off automatically just in case guests forget.
Mosquito screens have now been installed on the windows in the bedrooms and lounge.
Fast Fibre optic INTERNET has been installed in the house, and is included in the price, so you can use the internet or check your emails on your mobile, laptop or tablet. The smart TV has many movie and other apps available to use, some of which are free and some of which require subscription. e.g. Youtube, Netflix, Movistar, Amazon Prime.
The resort has a communal swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a grass garden on which guests can sunbathe. There are 3 large supermarkets, coffee bar, chemist and bank at the entrance to Bel Air. The beach is within a short walk from there. Bel Air is situated half way between Estepona and San Pedro, so it's just fifteen minutes' drive to either village, and twenty minutes to Marbella. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. Also, the famous port, Puerto Banus, full of luxury yachts and designer shops, is only fifteen minutes away. The house is also within easy reach of several golf courses. Los Flamingos GOLF course is WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE from the house (3 golf courses together). So, if you want, you can make this a TENNIS and GOLF HOLIDAY. Or you can just swim and relax by the pool, or at the beach.
TENNIS & FITNESS: The tennis court, opposite the back of the house, is a private club and you can check out their details and prices on http://www.belairtennis.com/en/ As well as tennis, they operate fitness classes and padel . They also offer training and also organise matches, Children's summer camps and BBQs.
There is also a gym within walking distance.
From the house, you can also visit Gibraltar (one hour away), Seville, Cordoba or Granada (approx 2-3 hours away). A one day trip to Tangiers can be arranged with coach collection from the Bel Air entrance. The house is also only 10 minutes' drive to the Selwo safari park.
Prices quoted include towels and sheets, and also a Meet & Greet service. There are no additional charges unless you arrange a late flight, in which case my agent will make a charge for meeting you after 11pm.
There is a private parking space for the house outside the urbanisation.
As soon as you have made your booking, I will send you an email requesting guest and arrival information. Then I shall send you a Welcome pack with full details of how to get to the house from the airport, and also how to meet my agent. The pack will also include details about the house and places to visit.
The route to the house from the airport is very easy and straight-forward. You can also use a GPS app on your mobile phone or Satnav in the car to help make it even easier.
The owner is officially registered with the Andalusian Government Tourist authority.
ESTEPONA:
Estepona has one of the best old quarters on the Costa del Sol and is a delight for photographers. You will be able to happily spend hours exploring the Andalucian historic centre with its narrow cobbled streets.
Estepona also has over 12 miles of coastline and boasts 17 fantastic beaches, many of which have been awarded blue flag awards. You are never far from a beach in Estepona, making a beach day out convenient and a must do. Relax in the sun and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the many seafront promenades.
There are numerous street cafes, traditional restaurants and tapas bars lining the cobbled streets of Estepona, all of which serve traditional Spanish delicacies, like paella, for you to enjoy.
Estepona may be a small town, but has a lot to keep you occupied during your stay. There is a bullring that contains museums, and also hosts concerts in the summer months. A beautiful marina to explore, with great shops and restaurants and the Selwo Wildlife Park, that is home to a range of exotic animals that live in semi-wild conditions.
THINGS TO DO IN ESTEPONA:
Centro Historico - the historic old centre of Estepona. This traditional Andalucian town centre is one of the nicest on the Costa del Sol. Explore the cobblestone streets, decorated with beautiful flowers and colourful plant pots. Discover the history of the castle and bell-tower, all that remains of the original church.
Orchidarium Estepona - a delightful attraction for an amateur botanist. Since opening in 2015, the Orchidarium has become one of the Costa del Sol’s top tourist attraction. Explore the 3 glass domes and discover the three waterfalls that help create a tropical environment for the 5,000 different plant species, with 1,300 different species of orchids.
Paseo Maritimo - a great spot to catch the sunset and enjoy the cooler temperature of an evening. There are many shops, bars and cafes to stop and gets a drink or something to eat. There are also beautiful flower beds that separate the promenade from the road, including palms, flowers and thicker vegetation.
Selwo Aventura - this extensive animal park is a must see. You will visit many of the enclosures on the park’s off-road truck, getting a spectacular view of a range of animals, including white rhinos, Bengal tigers, lions, zebras and giraffes. There are over 2000 animals at this park, as well as a petting zoo and Europe’s longest zip-line.
HORSE RIDING and lessons, including ponies for very young children: this is available nearby, on the way to Estepona.
WEATHER:
Estepona enjoys a hot, semi-arid climate that is typical of the area. The summers are hot and dry, with temperatures often around 35 °C. A cool breeze from the sea does make the heat more manageable though.
The winter months are more mild, with daytime temperatures reaching highs of 15 °C. However, the sun continues to shine during the winter months, with an average of 330 days of sunshine out of the year.
Estepona is a great spot to visit all year round, with a pleasant Mediterranean climate and near-constant sunshine.
TRAVEL INFORMATION:
The house is half way between Malaga airport and Gibraltar airport, both about one hour away by car. There are also airport transfers available if you do not want to drive.
There are a number of car hire companies in Estepona, and many more in Malaga, if you want to hire a car for your vacation. Taxis are also very common in the Costa del Sol.
Once you are in Estepona you can make use of the local bus routes to get around easily. Estepona has its own bus station that has routes to Malaga, Marbella, Casares and many other locations on the Costa del Sol.
