EVERYTHING was Fantastic. Staff was superb. Particularly Kayla, my new best friend. And Meghan, bartender at the lounge, open Thurs-Sat nights. One of the best lobbies I've ever seen for looks, atmosphere, and ability to sit quietly. You could walk around the hotel for an hour; so much history. Wide range of dining options within. 02/mile. Easy parking, walking distance to many shops, museums, etc. And if you like fresh sushi, ask staff for directions to Co-op. Definitely check out the boardwalk and Dick Taylor Chocolate. I was on day 60 of a 90-day cross-country drive. I booked for 3 nights knowing I may (or may not) want to extend; I stayed 15 nights. And wish I could've stayed more. And I've never written this much about a hotel, but they deserve it.

We stayed in this property last year and enjoyed our stay, however, this time we were very displeased. We stayed in room 306, if they try to give you that room don’t take it. It’s in poor state, cramped and looks like it’s falling apart. You can hear everything going on in the hallway and nearby rooms. The chair was torn, the sink had exposed plastic pipes, the bathroom was crammed and patched up. For the price per night you can have a better room at a motel nearby. It’s a shame because this inn has a lot of history and lots of potential, also the staff is very nice. However, it’s inconsistent about the quality of the rooms and that is unacceptable. We didn’t sleep well or comfortably and the room was overpriced for its condition. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again.

Eureka Post Industrial Look
Definitely a historical site if you want to relive that good 'ol Colonialist past. Staff are great and while you might not have all the modern amenities, you will enjoy the best sitting areas I've seen. Alexander Graham Bell would be proud of the post industrial collection of phones at this location. It really is something you want to experience. For giggles; the hallways will remind you of scenes from "The Shining". No kidding ... it was fun!
