This house was perfect for our weekend trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the baby proofing already done around the house, but all the features were great and complimented the history of the home. We also loved that you could walk to downtown. Definitely would stay again

Wonderful rental. The location is perfect for exploring old town Flagstaff. Right across the street from the farmers market where incredible treats can be found. Everything you may need, beautiful interior. And quiet! Dedicated parking spots. I will be back!

Perfect house and location to experience Flagstaff
The house was amazing - beautifully decorated to highlight its historic charm. Clean, comfortable, and easy check in and check out. Can’t beat the location as everything in downtown is walking distance. We loved the front yard and patio. Didn’t use the kitchen much but it was well stocked. The kids (7 and 9) want to stay there every time we go to Flagstaff so it was a win for everyone.

Gem of a stay
Walk to downtown events, (Route 66 classic car show for us) restaurants and local shopping. We cooked our own meal for one dinner and kitchen had everything we needed. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Parking was no problem on or off street. What a gem of a find!

Great place!
We stayed four nights at the purple house. Was very easy to get in, parking in the street in front always available. So close to downtown. Easy walk to local breweries and restaurants (avoid 66- use Beaver!). Rented bikes (walked to Absolute Bikes to rent). Easy in and out yo the highways. Bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely… the only odd thing for us was that you can’t open the windows- they’re only for emergency exiting. The central air was fantastic so no temperature issues- just really liked the Flagstaff air so we spent a lot of time the lovely front porch! Lovely spot!!!

My wife and 3 kids enjoyed our time at the Purple House. The property is quaint and cozy. It is located just a couple blocks from downtown Flagstaff. It’s an easy 3-5 minute walk.

convenient, cute house close to town
Good experience staying in the house, it was very cute on the inside and easy to "live in". We used this house as a stop/return point for going up to Canyon X and some other sightseeing (the volcano, ruins...) so we really really need to come back sometime and stay and explore Flagstaff more, the house was in a great location for that-- rather busy but fun.

Amazing House
We were a family of Grandparents, adult kids (couple) and 1 year old, as well as another adult couple (our other kids) that spent allot of time with us, eating, watching movies, and playing games. The house is very nice, beds very comfortable, well stocked, and couldn't ask for a better location. Highly recommend. We've stayed in allot of hotels and vrbo's in Flagstaff over the years, and this has been all of our favorite.

The location of this property could not be better. Walking to all that downtown Flagstaff has to offer - GREAT restaurants and some nice shopping. The apartment is beautifully decorated - spacious, charming and comfortable. Very well equipped. We LOVED staying here and would highly recommend.

Purple house was centrally located to everything in town. Including 20- 30 minutes from Snowmass. The home is very unique with added historical touches to it. Hostess has also added as much as possible to make your stay welcoming.

Excellent location, cute and homey
The location was great. Just off the busy parts of downtown so it was nice and quiet, but still walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. The house felt very homey with decor and live plants! Even blooming orchids! It had everything you need, including games and kitchen supplies. It worked out perfect for us.

The Purple House was a perfect stay for a weekend getaway to Flagstaff with the family. The house was stocked with everything needed (blankets, kitchen ware, games, etc). Charming place in a great location!
The Purple House is a really lovely place with a number of beautiful details. The hosts were very responsive. I loved that it's walking distance to downtown. I hosted my local family members for dinner one night and they commented on how it was probably the nicest place I'd stayed on visits there. I was there solo but it would work for two couples or a couple with a kid or two I think. Highly recommend!

Lovely downtown home
We had a wonderful stay. This unique home is beautiful, extremely clean and full of extras! Close to everything downtown, we were able to walk to shops, many close restaurants and coffee. Would absolutely stay here again. Such a lovely home with history. Hosts communicated well and obviously put a lot of love and care into the space.

Wonderful stay!
We had such a nice stay at the property. It was the perfect location so easy to walk to restaurants and downtown. We had the extra treat of having the farmers market literally across the street on Saturday and Sunday which was so fun. House was really nice and spacious and couldn’t hear tenants upstairs.

Five Stars Isn't Enough
We cannot imagine a more perfect vacation rental in Flagstaff. The home is like being invited to stay in a museum-quality restored home with all the modern comforts, but the feel of something exquisitely vintage. Perfectly clean, beautiful hardwood floors and furniture that matches, but modern showers and a wonderful kitchen for a gourmet cook. The location is amazing -- a 5 minute walk to great downtown restaurants and bars. The immaculate garden and yard gets stares for their beauty from people walking by. The beds were comfortable and the electronics modern. We loved this house and felt privileged to be invited to stay. Can we be more overflowing in praise? It's not possible. Price was very affordable and we will make this our regular go-to in Flagstaff. Congrats to the owners on having the perfect VRBO.
