We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ferrucci. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The staff made every effort to try to explain things in English as we did not speak Italian. Additionally, staff assisted with carrying luggage to our room and offered expresso/cappuccino when we departed. It was exactly what we pictured with regards to a European hotel. The rooms are small, but the hotel has so much character and is very charming. There are so many dining options close by that are easily accessible by foot. Additionally, the bus stop to get into the Florence City Centre is a two minute walk. It can be a bit loud during the night hours, but the area was far less busy than the inner city. We would definitely stay here again.

Basic necessities. We liked the location because it was less noisy / crowded than many other locations in town. While not super close to anything, we did walk most everywhere within 30-45 min. The AC wasn’t great. But it was cool enough for us to sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel staff was helpful. They made reservations for us and got us taxis a few times. Room and bathroom were small. Hotel is not convenient to city center. You can walk but it’s not close. They did provide bottles of water each day.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a long walk from old town. Could be noisy at night. Bathroom door was broken, and there was garbage in drawers. The room did not seem to be ready when we arrived (not enough towels/amenities) but next day was better. No elevator.

We had a great stay at this hotel for two nights. The front desk was extremely helpful and the rooms were also very nice for the price point. No elevator, but it wasn’t a bad hike up to the second level to the room. We tried several restaurants in the area and they were all very good, really liked the pizza place across the street. We took the city bus and it was very cheap at 1.70 euros to get anywhere in the city with the bus stop only 1-2 blocks from the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel and stay again!

The hotel is quite tired and needs upgrade. The beds and pillows super hard and uncomfortable. The room was cleaned well. Check in was smooth and welcoming. About 30min walk to centre of Florence.

I had put in a request to have our family of 8 with 2 rooms, placed as closely as possible and Hotel Ferrucci delivered. Very thankful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close enough to walk about 20min to the main sights. We would definitely book a stay there again. Florence was wonderful!

For the price is a great hotel. If you only need to sleep - it’s a clean, decent place facing river Arno. Next door is an amazing bakery, you can enjoy delicious pastries and coffee there for breakfast. About 20 mins walk to Gallery Uffizi and the city center.If you need luxury place - this hotel is not for you.
