Toilet was clogged, bathroom had mold on the walls and mattressess were stained, there were no mattress protectors. AC did not work properly. Location was great, service and staff were very nice and helpful.

Our bidet was not properly cleaned prior our arrival (still had feces). The location is great but the facilities are outdated and so are the rooms and lights. Staff was helpful and breakfast was fair. The toilet cover button was falling apart. I hope they can renew it soon. Not staying there again.

Great location on the edge of the historic district and close to the train station. The hotel itself is OK, the staff were helpful. Would recommend if you prioritize location over amenities. Also the breakfast was one of the best ones we had in Italy.

Room was pretty good (no complains). Nice and close to the train station and a 10 min walk to the main plaza/church. We didn't get breakfast. It looked ok, but felt for a few more $ we would have a locals experience at a shop. Staff was very nice, helped us with luggage, early check-in and recommendations around town.

Single twin room - good value
It's my second time in the hotel, and the second time I choose the small single twin room. For me it was perfect value - compact and comfortable. There is a small table and a small closet, but the toilet room + shower is actually spacious. I wished they had a board for ironing in the hotel, it would make my life easier (they have an iron but no board). You can have a very good espresso for 1 euro at the reception.

The property location is very convenient, especially if you arrive Florence by train; it’s only 1 block from the train station. It’s walking distance from most of attractions. The only downside for my stay was the air conditioner in my room could have worked better.
