The room was quiet and fairly clean. Tv and toilet did not work upon arrival. Lightbulb was burnt out. Bed was lumpy. For the price these factors are unacceptable.

Needs renovation and better housekeeping

I stayed here as I needed to be close to the arena for a last minute job. The hotel is in need of a renovation. While the front desk was fine and the gentleman was polite the experience wasn’t good after that. The hallway has an odd unpleasant odor. The sheets in my room had stains, the walls in my room were damaged (by arm chair for reference) the room needs to be painted as I’m sure others should be. The shower wasn’t clean and there were hairs. Universe the shower I am almost certain it was mold. I realized so late that I didn’t want to change rooms because I got back late and was so exhausted. The towel bar came off as I was grabbing a towel. This is my honest review. The pictures were deceiving when I booked the room. I wouldn’t stay there again. For the price of $180 a night I could have stayed somewhere more updated, clean and not so run down.

The staff was helpful but the hotel room itself was pretty bad and in desperate need for renovations. There also seem to be a smoking problem cause the moment you stepped into the room the thickest scent of weed was there to welcome you with open arms. All in all wouldn't go back to that particular hotel unless absolutely necessary.

For the good I liked the amenities in the room (microwave and mini fridge with freezer section) were very handy. TV was modern but had some slight damage and or wear, their was a thin blue line in the middle and slight black spots along the bottom of the screen but still watchable. The chair and work table were good but the chair at the work desk was very squeaky and uncomfortable for long sitting or working. Some aspects of the room felt a little dated e.g. the lightning fixtures and controls (switch for the face basin light took quite a few flicks before it came on). The area was quiet and easily 2accessible to a lot of amenities. The breakfast was very basic and no variety of meat, vegetarian or vegan options. Also the hot water flask had a residual coffee taste (maybe someone switched the taps on the flasks) which wasn't good for regular tea or plain water drinkers to have that taste in your tea(s). Though ample parking around the property Pool could have been cleaned of the leaves more regularly. Don't think it was cleaned at all during our stay.

Good place to stay in SE Florida. Easy access to Everglades, Beaches and all the attractions SE Florida has to offer. My only complaint was no PBS on the in-room TV.
