hotels .com said parking available arrival found out only valet at $55 a night. allowed 2 beach lounge chairs but charge $30 for a umbrella (told it was a luxury). room service spoke little english had to ask several times for items not replaced in the room. Took a shower after the beach and found no soap in the container.do not stay on the south east corner area as music down stairs will wake you up and Friday/Saturday night music went until 4am.For the price of the room not worth it many other choices to stay

We wanted to be ocean front, and this hit the spot! Also, it is located to a wonderful park (pay to enter, but great hiking) and a Museum/estate on the other side. Some close shopping and walkable restaurants. Great view and comfortable room.

I didn’t get a room upgrade or VIP amenity. Aside from this the service was atrocious. Housekeeping knocked on our door waking up the entire family at 810am! We had a “do not disturb” sign on the door knob. The next day after the room cleaning I noticed that they took my blanket and didn’t replace it! It was late at night when I returned to my room to find this. I called the operator and twice, TWICE they sent me just a bed sheet to replace my blanket. I stayed up for two additional hours waiting for them to figure it out and bring me a blanket. On the third attempt they finally brought me a blanket to be able to go to sleep. What an unprofessional and stress inducing hotel stay this was! We hated it.

The locations of this hotel is what sells it. It’s right on the beach. For the price I expected more from the hotel itself. Rooms are very mid nothing spectacular, no balconies to really enjoy the ocean view. Valet is an additional $55 a night. This place is overpriced. It’s just a really nice motel with a great view. Hardly no amenities.

I recommend Sonesta Hotel for a beach stay

Had a wonderful stay. Location for beach (chairs included) and restaurants is very good. Ocean view is beautiful. Front desk, Evelyn and Rosa r so helpful. Hotel restaurant food is good, nice open air seating, staff very good. Nice little bar area.

Great hotel! Staff was very friendly, room was clean and had a great view. Area around the pool could have been a little cleaner but overall very nice hotel for the price

The hotel is very good and excellent location! Our room was in second floor facing a big public balcony holding a gathering in the morning and we couldn’t open the curtains but they gave us 2 breakfast vouchers when we told the manager. The manager and receptionist were kind and helpful. There is a street separating the hotel from the beach so it’s not by the beach but there is 2 free chairs on the beach daily . Don’t forget your towels from hotel though!

Poor costumer service

Well, we got a few issues with this hotel: 1. The valet parking guy was disrespectful 2. We bought an ocean view room but received side partial view. 3. The carpet was damaged by the edge of tiles poke my foot with the exposed nails. 4. Next morning we called the valet packing guys and after receiving my call, they forgot about us and we have to way more than 20 minutes to get our car. This happened during the San Valentine weekend and the room number is 421.
