My husband and I stayed the week here and it was paradise. The pool area and restaurant/bar were well maintained with great service. Pictures don’t do justice to their beautiful area of palm trees, hammocks, and bean bag/yard games. Walk a few more steps to beach chairs available and the ocean. I do wish they had umbrellas for rent (you could buy them but we wouldn’t need it after we left). We rented bicycles nearby which was a great way to see the island, get coffee/lunch nearby. The BGBR restaurant at the resort had great food, coffee, and desserts. The mini burgers and truffle fries were my favorite. And the lava cake! They gave us a beach bag for collecting shells, and all staff members were helpful and courteous. We will definitely be back 🏖️☀️🌊

This is the nicest motel I have ever stayed in. (Let's be clear, this is definitely a motel, not a big "resort". But I don't hold that against the place.) Considering the entire area was hit by a strong hurricane a few months ago, you would never know it. The Sanibel Island Beach Resort seemed to be just fine! The location was easy - just after the causeway onto the island. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The pool area and tiki bar comfortable a cute. And the glorious beach was just steps away! It was a touch pricey, but affordable when compared to other properties on the island, right on the beach. I would definitely stay again!

Beach is great, pool is very good, and the rooms are clean though not spectacular. This was our first time visiting Sanibel since the hurricane, and I got the sense the island is still 6-8 months away from being back to normal.

Good hotel in a good location

Very nice hotel. Room was new and modern. It is setup with two floors and room door from outside. We didn’t use many of the onsite amenities so I can’t speak to much about that. We did go down to the beach and layout on the chairs and that was nice.

Interior of rooms updated and very nice. Exterior of hotel still needs an update; but overall, they have done an excellent job of recovering from the hurricanes. Pool area very nice. Easy access to beautiful beach. The restaurant on site is great, with good food choices.

Cute hotel right on the beach with chairs. Our room was on the 2nd floor. It wasn’t completely remodeled like the pictures but was still clean and contemporary. The pool area was very nice. All staff were friendly and kind.
