Check the locks
The room’s electronic keycard access lock on the door was the only lock for the room. The inside deadbolt was inoperable and there was no other locking mechanism for the occupant to secure the room from the inside. There was also no peep hole and no documentation for evacuation posted in the room. Was told this could not be fixed and that I was technically safe. Ignoring the legal points, which they did not seem to understand, I did not feel safe. They had no other room available, could not find me other accommodations elsewhere. Did get a refund. The lack of basic legal locking mechanism overshadowed the very clean and nice accommodations.

New TV system is a MUST.
Not a bad place to stay for a night. Kind of odd in that the hotel rooms are located above a truck stop/travel store. The bed was clean and comfy. The floors were just painted concrete, again different, and some areas looked dirty in the room. Our biggest complaint was the TV system. There was no way to see any live local channels or live sporting events. It as a very strange cable programing system. We were there on a September Saturday afternoon and evening stay and we could NOT watch any of the college football games in this room. We even had the IT/maintenance employee to try and figure it out....no one there knew how to get live stations and event tv coverage at this hotel. We even talked with the manager that checked us in at the desk. This is not good for return business and needs to be corrected.

We were not sure what to think when we first tried this hotel but were quickly at ease from the friendly staff to the clean rooms and the quality of the rooms. Yes, they have concrete floors which was off putting at first but the beds are amazing, they add some little treats to make you feel welcome, amazing shower and smart tv's so you can watch pretty much anything! It is also nice to have the truck stop right below you and a separate liquor store should you decide on needing food or drink. The "Party" Store" is a great even if you do not drink that often as they have a huge variety of things I had never seen before. Great place to get unique gifts! 10 out of 10. This was our 2nd stay here and did not disappoint! We will be back in 2 weeks and won't even think of staying anywhere else which we have also tried.

Required a $150 deposit. TV remote froze 4 times. Unable to watch TV. Wouldn't replace. Refrig freezer unusable. Needed defrosting. The bathroom vanity lights had dark glass on 25w bulbs and had 2 of 4 lights out and they said they don't have replacement bulbs.

Nice place to stay with a unique building front. Looks like a castle. We loved it. My mother is elderly and she suggested you need a handrail in the shower. We would stay again.

Great stay! It was a little confusing at 1st because I didn’t realize you check in at the convenience store in the front. But one I figured that out everything was fantastic! The room was huge with 2 king beds and a separate living room area with couches and tv. Super clean and quiet. The staff were all so nice. Would definitely stay here again
