The room we were in was dirty, the carpet felt wet, the toilet seat was wood and had big chunks out of it in the front and back. We had to think about splinters... from just using the restroom. The AC barely went below 77 and it turned off automatically during the night AND to top it off I came home covered in bed bug bites.... NEVER would I ever suggest anyone stay here.

Had a great couple of days in the Stockyards. The Stockyards Hotel is central and convenient and met our needs well, as we were recovering from a long plane trip whilst waiting to meet family. It has the classic cowboy theme. Beds were comfy and reception with comfy chairs, free wi-fi & air conditioning was a great place to sit for a while. Staff were welcoming. Booger Red’s bar & H3 Steakhouse are located on the premises. We ate at both. Cedar plank smoked salmon was absolutely delicious. One serve of homemade ice cream cake the previous afternoon took two serious ice cream lovers to finish off! Thanks for the war, welcome!

Piece of History!
The stay was great. Bonnie at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Our upgrade was very appreciated and was a lovely bonus on our weekend get away!

This is such a cute hotel! Loved all the western decor! They asked if we wanted a street facing room, and told us that it can be loud, and it was, but they provide ear plugs! We wanted street side, just to look out. Great location.

Cool place, little over priced.
Neat place, lots of history. Staff was great. Theme of the rooms and hotel was on point. Felt like for the price things could have been much nicer. Lots of options to keep the historic feel but update things. Room was clean for the most part, other parts not so much. There was no cold water, shower was either way too hot or surface of the sun. We had a good stay, very loud at night but that was no fault of the hotel. Would stay again just felt over priced for the accommodation provided.

Been staying at this hotel for years. It's time for some upgrades in floors in rooms and ceilings. Can still have the cowboy look but a bit upgrade. And offer a safe. Southerners carry weapons
