The apartment is above some businesses, and we had to park on a side street but it seemed like it was a safe neighborhood so that was nice. Definitely an older building but the apartment was clean. The fuse blew twice while I was drying my hair, and there were no toiletries provided. Luckily the sound of the AC blocked the noisy street noise. Overall it was fine for 1 night but I wouldnât want an extended stay here.
Check in was at 3pm on Friday and the property owner told me there was a code to put in to open the door. The property own was MIA from Monday to Friday night at 11:50pm with any type of communication on this code so when I got there I was unable to access the room until 11:50pm. My guess and myself had to wait outside in the rain in a neighborhood that really wasnât that pleasant for hours until he finally got back to me. While waiting, we couldnât find a bathroom for awhile and had to drive out of our way to access one. Some of the food we bought began to spoil and I had to throw it away. We tried to find a different hotel, but everything around either did not have a room or was so expensive due to last minute reservations. Iâve traveled a lot and this was BY FAR THE WORST show of hospitality or even business ownership I have EVER experienced. In fact I never want to do this type of stay again and Iâll just stick to hotels.
It was clean, easy to check in, not far to drive to different locations. Street parking was interesting. Only negative for us was how low the bed was to the ground and road noise. Nicely decorated and had the basics like hair dryer and ironing board.
