The area was quiet and everyone was friendly. The breakfast at the restaurant was good and convenient. Rooms were clean and the hotel is a couple miles to downtown Galena shopping.

The shuttle service to/from downtown Galena is very convenient. The rooms are a bit dated and the mattress felt like sleeping on the floor. There was also no automatic housekeeping. Overall, it was a good place for a night or two but I expected a bit more for the price.

The history of this hotel was amazing. The attention to detail was beyond belief! It made me feel like I was in Ireland. The food was delicious and breakfast was great also.

The location was very quiet and felt safe yet close to all attractions. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and bar which were located on the property and the friendliness of the staff. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galena and the surrounding area.
