Simply put, The Flannery Hotel is one of the best kept secrets in Galway. An exceedingly clean, comfortable place to stay, with two fine restaurants, an excellent bar, and service that surpasses your expectations. Our room was clean, quiet, and modern. We chose this hotel because we needed parking and the parking was excellent -- plentiful, well-lit, and safe.

It’s very true - the staff is so helpful and accommodating! The room was wonderful, exactly what we needed, parking was a breeze, and we walked to downtown entertainment district Galway, a few kilometres - no problem. Thank you to the staff! Wonderful!

General Manager Dara and his staff were awesome and helped us out of a very difficult situation. We arrived for a 3 day stay at the nearby Maldron Hotel but they had cancelled our reservation the day of our arrival. They claimed they couldn’t verify payment and said they tried to call. We we arrived at 5 PM but they said our room was no longer available. They made no effort to help us. We we lucky to get a 3 day reservation at the Flannery but there was an issue with our first night stay. Dara and his staff worked to find a solution for that. When we returned the next day we received an upgrade to a suite and had a lovely stay. This is a very nice hotel with Irish charm and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend!
