Although a beautiful resort, it’s Options for breakfast we’re not good because it was either $28 For a very large breakfast or walk down a long hill and back up again to find alternative add another place. As I am a senior woman and I was travelling alone and did not have my own vehicle that made things very difficult for me. The other thing I was not prepared for was the fact that my room was in a building separate from the main building and to walk back-and-forth for meals in the dark was difficult for me. That should all have been made clear.

The front desk staff were freindly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant staff was extremely rude. I immediately reported this behavior to management. The hotel manager talked to the two men working in the restaurant and they admitted to her that they were rude in their remarks to me, (asking, in an angry voice, what I was doing there). I am White and my husband is Black, and I felt this was perhaps a reason for their offensive behavior. The manager assured me they were just overwhelmed by a busy day. She also suggested that because they are French speaking, that perhaps they just “sounded” rude when speaking English. I explained to her that my husband and I would not stay the night and expected a full refund. She offered to wave the room fee if we would stay, but the experience was so hurtful that we decided not to stay.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful, very clean, and very safe. The staff is excellent and the food is wonderful. As someone with a nut allergy, I was also amazed at how diligent both the restaurants and the spa were when it came to my allergies. Servers and hostesses took the time to double check with the kitchens to make sure it was safe for me to eat and the spa staff automatically carefully read every ingredient on products before applying them on my skin without me having to ask.The spa is also very nice, however, I wish they would have been more upfront about the possibility of having either sex give you a massage as I would have felt much more comfortable with a female masseuse and would have request one had it been more clear. Additionally, you could sometimes hear other guests from other rooms or the guests directly above your room at night. This wasn’t very big concern though but something to note. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the waterfall from our room. We had an amazing experience for our anniversary. The food at La Muse was spectacular, and we finished our stay with a massage at the Spa.

Horrible experience here. Could have been corrected but was never contacted after my management. No heat/AC, no water pressure, over 10 calls in for help to main office and no answer. Also sadly, one of the worst meals I’ve experienced anywhere.

Fabulous place to stay in! Service was excellent! Although there was no one at the front desk to meet or receive us, we did find an envelope with our passes and Information ready to go. (We were there past midnight, so it was somewhat understandable) Other than that, it was a really nice place to stay. It was so nice we extended our stay for an extra night. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Nice setup along the river offering several private sitting areas and fire pits. You can bring your alcohol beverages from the bar in plastic glasses. Appreciated the hot tub and heated pool.
