Valentine day trip

We booked this stay based on location. The hotel really needs updated. The room had minimal furniture ( no place to set luggage). No closet just a metal rack that was rusted. The hangers would not come out of the holders due to rust. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. The pool is nice for children but they were allowed to stay in past the closing time so it was loud after most people’s bed time. Even though the price was good we were disappointed!

Don’t stay during Winterfest.

Great staff, great amenities. Wish I had known that 6 bus loads of teenagers in town for Winterfest were also staying at this same hotel and I would’ve chosen another one. Very loud (had a ground level room), unloaded at midnight outside my door hence I heard every conversation possible. Rooms could use some updating but overall a nice hotel.

Mattresses were scattered all over the floor hallways for days until more people came on Friday. We were told there was no where to put the old mattresses!!! Breakfast at the restaurant wasn’t available until the 4th day staying there and when it finally opened, the toaster, microwave and warmers weren’t working so all the hot foods were cold. The biscuits felt like hard rocks…nothing was edible and the y were charging $13.00 a person. They just said sorry about that…..

Cozy!

Our stay was nice. There weren't many people, so the restaurant was closed for most of our stay, but we are there on Valentine's and it was very good. Service was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Glenstone! The property has been well maintained and recently updated. Parking was great and the pancake house a few minutes walk away is amazing! The only negative i have is that the bathroom tile was black except for under the sink. Just needs a bleaching. The ceiling also had some spots in the bathroom of 304. Otherwise will be booking again!

Overall great stay and great staff

Fantastic stay. Need to keep the toddlers out of the hot tub so the adults can enjoy (and for safety). The pool area, lobby, rooms, and hotel are very clean and some of the friendliest staff ever. Would definitely stay again.

Affordable place but dated and needs updates. Alarm clock flashed and wouldn’t allow a reset. Pillows were not comfortable. Bath tub was not clean, or gave the appearance that it was not. It’s an old property, so only so much they can do, but still opportunity to make it a bit more current. Overall good value for the money.
