The property manager on this hotel start renovating tear down the whole building on the president day. I should check out around 11 AM. They are doing that work at 7 AM. What happened with us? We have to leave early because my daughter was not feeling well with all this dust for that renovation I hope they can refund part of the money we pay because our contract expired 11 AM and they start renovating the building at 7 AM

To start with I was not aware the building was under construction (which by the way starts at 7am). My key would not work on the side doors, the key would not work on my room door (maintenance fixed that and he was very nice). So after carrying my luggage to and from the front desk i finally got in my room. Due to the construction one floor below me the air and in room was gritty and the floors were too from construction dust. Im finally in my room and the smoke detector battery in the room next to mine was going dead…chirp…chirp. I talked to the front desk clerk about it and went to dinner. When I came back it still wasn’t fixed so I went back to the front desk and said this has to be fixed. She came up (she was very nice), figured out what room it was in and had maintenance come fix it (same guy, still very nice). Next morning I get up to the sound of construction below my floor (did I mention that construction started at 7) and have a class to go to but the class is over at 1130. I stop by the desk and ask the clerk if I can check out at 12 instead of 11. She started off by rolling her eyes and telling me that they don’t normally do that with everything that is going on. I told her not to worry about it. I would have my stuff out of the room shortly. I collected my belongings and happily left the hotel. Ive stayed here a few times and always had good experiences but i wont be making that mistake again, there are to many other choices.

Just about everything was amazing, good front desk staff, good free breakfast in the mornings, pool and an amazing hot tub. Rooms were ok, bed was uncomfortable and pillows were like half empty sacks. No support. Rooms could use draws or somewhere to put clothes. Everything else was perfect. Very clean

The property was not directly on the strip which we enjoyed because there was less traffic. It was an easy walk to the strip and we took advantage of that several times during our stay.

The property itself was very nice. But, very dirty. Same pieces of trash were on the ground our entire stay. Hallways smell like stinky feet. Stains all over the carpets in the hallways. Only one elevator worked and the teens were there for their chrurch thing. Made it difficult to get around. Work out area was never cleaned. Floor was so dirty that your feet were muddy when you walked out. The floors to the pool were also muddy and never swepted or mopped. Someone started vacuuming at 8am. So, no sleeping in for us. The breakfast was luke warm and mediocre.I wouldnt waste my money on this palce. Stay next door at the Glen lodge. They were wayyyy cleaner and nicer.

Great Stay

Nice large room. Loved the fireplace, although it’s on a timer and you’d have to turn it back on after an hour. Balcony was nice, but it was too cold when we were there to really sit out there. Breakfast was decent, the waffles are always my favorite. Staff was always friendly. Would definitely stay here again.. It is a little ways to walk to everything downtown, but not terrible. If you are attending something at the convention center this is a really great location.
