Beautiful and convenient location
What a beautiful location! Right on a small river and close to the strip in Gatlinburg. We walked down there every night! The hot tub and patio area were my favorite place in the whole hotel. Peaceful views with fire outs and a hot tub right on the river. We also loved the balcony.

The staff of this property were extraordinarily accommodating for our needs. We had to switch hotels mid-trip (to this hotel) and we also had to switch rooms (due to my booking error - DO NOT book with 3rd parties because you get a better deal if you call the property directly), and they were able to get us into each room 'earlier' than the official check-in time and were so helpful about making sure it wasn't a chore. They got the 2nd room ready for us in such good timing that we were able to move from the one to the other with minimal reloading of the car.

Clean and well kept property. Very pretty outdoor area with fire pits and outdoor seating right next to a stream.The only thing I didn't like is the smoking area which was near the maintenance area doors and where people walk their dogs. Smokers pay the same as non smokers and the designated smoking area could use much improvement. Despite the negative I would definitely stay again.

The hot tub was awesome, the breakfast was ok, the cleaning service was ok,. I needed a few more pillows because of a knee and foot injury but when i asked for them i was told they didnt have extras because everyone was needing extra one. I finally got a couple and 2 more blankets but the hotel was not even full. The parking lot was only half full when we were there. Left note for maid to leave what pillows we did get bit i had to ho back downstairs and demand my pillows back because she took them. That was very irritating. One day she didnt even make the bed, just threw covers up over the two pillows she left. Not acceptable.
