Exactly what we needed

This condo was just what we needed, right size, right price, beautiful location. You do have to travel some very curvy roads with steep edges to get there, but the views are amazing. The condo was quiet, very peaceful. We had no cell service, but thankfully they have WiFi so we could still make calls. The kids enjoyed the pool. One hot tub wasn’t hot, but there was a sign saying it would be repaired soon. Overall we would stay again.

Terrible customer service

We booked for two nights. Late in the evening of the first night, we discovered that we had no hot water. We notified the staff. They stated that they'd send a technician in the morning. Early the next morning, we were told that a technician would not be available until after our stay, so they needed to relocate us. This was not good news to us, but we understand that things happen. They sent us a link to a property across town. The pictures looked decent, so we packed up and drove there. The place they offered was a total dump. First of all, we booked a place with a king bed as an option. This place had two dingy bedrooms with full size beds. The bathrooms were gross. There were urine stains on the wall of the master bathroom. We communicated that it was an unacceptable substitution. They offered a third place, farther across town. It was nice, so we stayed. We had little options at that time. We finally got to have breakfast at 1:30 PM.In the beginning, they stated that they'd issue a credit, due to the absence of hot water and for the inconvenience. After a few days of me pestering them, they finally offered a 30 credit. I explained that it was not acceptable, so they offered 56, because the third location was an "upgrade" from the first. We did not ask for an upgrade. It wasn't much better than the first place.Things happen... we understand that water heaters have issues sometimes. Perfect!

The condo was just what we needed. It had all supplies we could need. Kitchen was great. Bunk bed was great for our children. The Christmas decorations were a sweet added touch! Location was perfect because you can get down to Gatlinburg in just minutes or take the bypass to Pigeon Forge. We loved the easy access to national Park as well. Great spot we will definitely visit again!

Towels need to be replaced. Mild odor; possibly air filter needs changed more often. Floors and beds were nice and clean. Didn’t use community hot tub as kids used it as the community pool.

Doesn’t get much better on the mountain

You can’t get much higher on the mountain, so the drive is “fun” but it’s well worth it. The pool and two hot tubs are solid and a great addition. The apt is extreme and the owners have made it extremely homey with decorations for the holidays. We will definitely be back again!!

Could be better

Alot of minor things that should be kept up. Pools were cloudy. 1 hot tub was a cloud, the other had too mamy chemicals and there is a bee's nest on our balcony. A person vomited in the indoor pool area. When they came to lock up I told the individual. 5 days later its still laying there dried up. Inside, the coffee table is being held together by rubberbands. The living room chair could break at any moment. There was mold in one of the showers. The entire floor was covered in dust. The smoke alarm battery died in the hallway, the solution from maintenance was to "remove the battery". This place is in a beautiful spot on top of a mountain with amazing views. It just needs TLC. rrubberbands

Smokey Mountain Blast

The overall process from booking to checking out was a breeze. The unit itself was very nice, plenty of space, clean, lots of necessities as well as almost all amenities. The only downside my wife and I noticed was a lack of dressers and or closet space to store clothes. Other than that, great stay!

Overall the stay was nice and the view was great. The outdoor pool could’ve been cleaner. The front door was unlocked when we arrived. There were a few dishes that were put away dirty and the bath towels had several pieces of hair in them. There was also little hand soap. The master bedroom closet smelt like cat pee and almost all the bigger blankets were dirty. I don’t understand why most places don’t wash the comforters after each checkout. It’s so disgusting and they were cleary dirty.

It’s up the mountain.

The condo was just as described. The only reason I gave the rating I gave is because the hot water did not work when we arrived. I chose to wait till the next day to report it. It was fixed in a timely manner and was good the rest of the visit. I spoke to the property manager and the owner and both were helpful in getting it fixed asap. I would recommend to anyone to stay there and I will more than likely book again.

Great Vacation!

4th of July weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is exactly as described. Clean and ready to go. Owner was quick and easy to communicate with. The road to get here is very curvy and hilly. But the view once up there is lovely. The unit could use a dresser or something in the master. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay

We have stayed at the Summit before. This specific unit is excellent. Clean, which is a priority. This unit is as advertised. 2 adults and 2 kids ages 15 and 10. Perfect amount of space for us. The pool is a nice spot to cool off. We actually spent tye majority of our day hours poolside. The winding roads up arent bad but we have stayed in the area before and knew what to expect. I would recommend .....the views from this area are outstanding.

Just What We Needed

Our stay in this condo was just what we needed for a weekend in Gatlinburg! On the smaller side, but with that being said, it fills all the boxes on what we needed on holiday!! Clean & well taken care of. Comfy beds... I usually have an awful time sleeping away from home, but HERE, I slept wonderfully!! We didn't use it, but there is a jet tub that would be nice after a long day!! All appliances worked as they should. Coffee pots!! Nice view from the balcony!! The ONLY thing I wished it had that it didn't, was a muffin tin for the mix I brought!! Oooh, and I thought the bedside tables in the master bedroom were so very cool!! We've stayed in this complex before, and it's really great, too!! Once their new indoor pool/hot tub area is done is will be just the perfect stay!! Very close to many attractions!! Appreciate how attentive the owners are with keeping in contact... THAT was very nice!!

Magnificent Views

Very nice, very comfortable condo. Kitchen and bathrooms were a little tight, but otherwise a great setup. Enjoyed cable TV and streaming services when it got too dark to keep staring at the gorgeous views. Was thrilled to see a few bears (morning & evening sightings). For anyone seeking a glimpse of a bear, just know this required patience and active watching and waiting to see them. (I suspect the noise of construction workers renovating the hot tub and game room area may have kept some bears away. Note: construction noise was NOT a problem inside the condo unit.) The roads to the condo were indeed winding but not as bad as I expected. And after the first few trips up and down, it became easy. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Owners made everything a breeze. I definitely recommend a stay here!

Very Clean!

This place was very clean! The location was perfect, up at the top of a mountain. We saw bears everyday driving back and forth to town.
