Hôtel Montana was lovely, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great, lots of nice continental food. The location was perfect. They provided us with an air con unit, which helped massively as the weather was hot. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommend.

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We had a two bedroom and one bedroom did not have AC and the other had a portable unit that vented outside. Because the unit vented outside, the window was opened a bit which did not help with the noise. The rooms were clean. The parking is at the train station which is a couple of minutes walk but they give you a discount on the parking.

All together great stay. The only downfall was lack of air-conditioning, in 35°C heat we had to have the balcony door open all night and the fan on with the hotel being on the main street it made for a very loud environment. The air-conditioning is being fitted in the rooms at the moment so I don't think that will be an issue next season. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect. I would book again for sure.

I arrived after 11 pm so the hotel door was locked and no reception. After figuring out that I need to head to another location to get my access card, I went to my room and discovered it has a mobile air condition machine that sounds like a vacuum machine. Couldn’t sleep all night because of it. Breakfast is absolutely basic. Only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the train station. Extremely low value for money

Hotel close to the train station and Lake Geneva
The hotel was just a block away from the train station and a couple blocks away from Lake Geneva. Many dining options close by. The room was a typical size "European" room but fine for our one night stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

This is a difficult one. So the hotel is in a great place and very convenient and cheap [in a good way cheap]. You do get what you pay for though. Let me get this out of the way: the staff are great and pleasant. Breakfast was also great. I personally don't need anything more. The facility itself is rather old and needs some upgrade. It initially felt a bit depressing, but I got over it and it does have a bed, a brand new tv, a fridge, a safe, and a clean bathroom. What more could I ask for? It just needs an upgrade. However, after getting used to it, I began to actually enjoy it. The location is unmatched. I never choose an hotel away from this area, but I would have liked to have seen some upgrade to the entrance and the rooms. Would I stay there again? Most likely yes, which says plenty. Thank you to the staff who made it all pleasant.
