We had a 10 day stay in July 23, we last came here 15 years ago. It was a lovely stay, the staff are pleasant and helpful, the rooms spotless and our house keeper was superb Room 506. We had a superior room with a terrace, you get the cheapest deals with a comparison site, but if you're looking for one of the really nice rooms in the new part of the hotel then book directly with the hotel " we will next time we go" they are gorgeous. Restaurant is good and breakfast was nice with a good choice, if you go at peak times expect a little wait. The swimming pool is nice, big enough for a decent swim and the sun bed area is good "there is some extension work going on at the moment but you don't notice it. Its a lovely view from the rooms and most quests enjoyed watching the ferries going back and forth to Malta. The area is very nice and there has been a number of restaurants' become established over the years, The Grand has a lovely Sky restaurant and roof top BBQ. All in all it was a great 10 days at the Grand, we will be back. Gozo itself is a Beautiful Island with lots of places to visit, the small towns/villages come alive in the evening. Sadly we spoilt our holiday by spending our final 7 days on Malta, "We should have stayed at the Grand and taken the passenger ferry over for days out, it costs just few Euros and takes you all the way to Valleta.

Sat high up above the Gozo port there is always something to see going on, with Malta and Comino as a backdrop. We found it the perfect spot as a base from which to explore Gozo, and I liked just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.

Stayed for 4 nights here and had a wonderful time. The staff are exceptional, food is delicious, very relaxing time. Highly recommended and i for one will definitely be returning.

Hotel a bit tired could do with updating Staff could have been a little more cooperative. Appreciate there was a wedding party. But other guests shouldn't be neglected. Breakfast buffet not that great Evening meal choice fantastic.

Beautiful view

Visited in November. Staff excellent. Interesting watching the ferry in and out. Breakfast was good. Buffet evening meal was delicious. Friendly people in Gozo.

Lovely hotel overlooking the harbour

Pros: The staff were all charming and helpful.
Cons: Some of the carpets in the hallways were stained
Location: The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes walk from the ferry. There are several pleasant bars and restaurants nearby.
The Grand Hotel has an enviable position with great views across the harbour to Comino and Malta. Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony enabling us to enjoy the views.

Super hôtel, le personnel est très accueillant. Cet hôtel est à environ 7 minutes à pied du ferry Mgarr. Je le recommande sans hésiter et reviendrai si l'occasion se présente. Le seul bémol que je peux dire de cet hôtel concerne le parking. Pas assez de place par rapport à la grandeur de l'hôtel.
