Generally a very good stop in Flagstaff. The only problem was their computer reservation system - they seem unable to get it do things like print a receipt. The place has a nice dog area. No breakfast, but good espresso drink machine. This will now be a regular stop on our regular trips through Flagstaff. The restaurant / bar adjacent seems a little dicey, but the hotel is not directly affected.

This has been my 3rd stay, has been great every time. Room's have always been clean, super comfy, love the bathroom vanity and new showers. All amenities have been nice. We had a great time at Elavat8. Restaurant was in the same parking lot which was pretty decent. Room was freshly modeled and clean. Nice bedside tables and ample places to plug in devices. Internet worked great. We had a room facing the pool with outside entry which was really nice. We had a small glitch with our check in when they charged the card I had reserved the room with rather than the card I handed them. They also charged $150 hold fee which was released the next day. I wasn't expecting that and did not recall seeing it listed anywhere. Other than that it was a great experience and we were very pleased. Although the rooms were refurbished they still need a little extra attention to the outside walking area.

An otherwise pleasant stay was ruined by what I would’ve considered a small request to which even a “I’m sorry but no” would have been perfectly acceptable. But instead caught an exchange full of attitude. Had it been my place ( and I am an owner of a small business hotel) I would’ve fired them on the spot. But instead, I’ll just never come back
