This property was not what I expected from the ad. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and there was hair in the tub and sheets. Staff was friendly but unable to rectify the situation. I paid way too much for what we got.

Hotel was very dated but clean. Staff was was very friendly and we had prompt service. The reasurant service was excellent. We had their beef sandwich reccommended by our waitress. Very good

Very Disappointed
The hotel is nice but the advertisement is deceiving. It says it’s on the Falls, well when we checked in we were told the Falls were closed for maintenance and had been for a month. A local lady told us this time of year there are little or none falls. Either way we should have been made aware of the not so Grand Falls since that is why we booked there. Very disappointed

I booked a dog friendly room and was told upon check in that i didnt. Man on check in desk was not friendly about it ...very abrupt. Eventually he discovered a note with my booking, that i did infact ask for a dog friendly room and actually did apologise. Room was okay..though the bed was extremely hard. Nice view over the water but balcony railings were not tightly secure...didnt feel safe on it. Did order from adjoining restaurant..food was very good and staff were excellent.

The bathroom sink was leaking and our feet was soaked when we walked in . Taked to the staff for some sort of compensation and got nothing . We used every towel there was to soak up all the water . We even showed the cleaners and the receptionist even came and took pictures !

My son has celiac disease and finding restaurants he can eat at when traveling is really hard. We often resort to the grocery store and the hotel microwave, but the restaurant attached to this motel was super accommodating and understanding. It made our day! My son was so excited to get one of his Amorite meals!

You will have beautiful views of the falls. The rooms are large and it’s very quiet. What I didn’t like is there are no amenities and breakfast is not included. Some things in the rooms need updating but the rooms are very comfortable

The location facing falls was excellent (despite a low water level, during maintenance, that meant there was only a trickle from the falls). The falls were not too “Grand” but the gorge is interesting. The hotel is within walking distance of the falls information centre and great trails to view the falls and the impressive gorge. Our ground floor room with two double beds was small but clean. The compact bathroom had a loose sink and uneven finishes on the moldings, but everything worked fine. Door was hard to close. Front desk clerk “Chad” was very helpful. No breakfast is included, but the onsite restaurant and bar offers delicious meals and a superb view of the falls. The “whoopie pies” are excellent.
