Great base for our family holiday to Caister. Well appointed had everything you would need. Plenty of towels which was good as we needed one in the kitchen for drying hands.
Did not mention in advert that was right next door to a pub, most nights this was not an issue as the bedrooms are at the front, but on the Saturday there was a live band in the pub which was very loud and went on until 11.30pm. The glazing at the front of the property was great and kept most of the traffic noise out, unless you wanted the window open, but road was not super busy later in evening so not really an issue. Parking in the pub car park is free and very easy, always got a space.
just a couple of things to note, the mattress on the king bed in the larger of the two bedrooms was very hard! The bunk beds had the ladder right behind the door so you did need to double check before going in the room! the sofa bed in the lounge, someone has put the brackets on the wrong way, so the arm rest does not actually connect to the sofa, so be careful not to lean on it!
Lidl & Co-op walkable for supplies, and a great little bakery almost next door for fresh bread, the local Chinese (also next door) was good and very popular so get your order in early. very easy to get to Grt Yarmouth in 15 mins by car, walkable beach nearby, plenty of restaurants & takeaways walkable from cottage.
