Ants in the room
The room was invested with ants. I had to move my son in his dorm room at North Carolina A&T on Monday August 19, 2024. Because his stuff was in the hotel room, the ants transported to his dorm room and he is still dealing with the ant problem today August 26, 2024. When I spoke to the front desk when checking out on August 20, 2024, they have not done anything as of today. No one called or emailed me like the front desk clerk stated someone would. Need help

A mixed bag.
We stayed in room 314 and the light upon entering did not work. The bathroom's door does not open/close properly. The elevator took a really, really long, long time to reach the 3rd floor and the indicator light did not illuminate. The general cleanliness was good, as was the quietness of the indoor and outdoor surroundings.

I tried so hard to like this property because the staff was so nice but they aren’t ready to be open. The entire property seems like they did just enough for it to be open. Our door wouldn’t close properly, it was missing a dead bolt, there’s stucco on the windows, our curtain rod was on the floor, cracks in the walls, next to no water pressure, open and exposed walls throughout the hotel, pathetic “breakfast”, drink dispensers don’t work, locked lobby bathrooms that say “no public use”, the list is endless. I won’t even get into the fact that a youth track team was there and literally sprinted the halls day and night, screaming, playing ding dong ditch and had what appears to be no supervision and the hotel staff did nothing. It’s just a mess and for the amount of money they’re charging I’ll never even consider staying there again.

The location was great for a concert at the Coliseum. However, we arrived 1.5 hours after check-in time and there were no clean rooms available. When we did get our room, the main light did not work, I reported it immediately, and it is still not repaired. There was an AWFUL ant infestation in the room that we noticed after the concert, about midnight, and of course, there were no additional rooms. The down elevator button on floor 3 did not work, you had to hit the up and hope noone was in it to get to the ground floor. It looks like they are trying to upgrade the site, but there is a long way to go.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire hotel reeked of weed. People were even bold enough to smoke it on the elevators. The beds were not comfortable and it was not very clean. Also the breakfast was a complete joke. I would be better off going to McDonald's.

The property itself could use some serious maintenance. The outdoor pool is not functional, the lobby floor wasn't very well-cleaned, and my husband and I both passed on breakfast each day because of the items available, but the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was good for my short business trip in Greensboro.
