The rental had more amenities than we could use for a short stay. There was a laundry room, fully functioning kitchenette, nice sized sitting area, bedroom, and bathroom as well as a walk in closet. There was some street noise at night, but we were not disturbed by it. Nonetheless, it was good that earplugs and sleep masks were provided even though we didn’t find them necessary. The tea and coffee selections were also nice to wake up to. Both the check in and check out processes were easy to navigate. The only thing that would have added to our time there would have been on site parking.

This is our 3rd time staying there and the place is centrally located and clean and comfortable. The bath wasn’t draining in 2G and we had this problem on our first stay . There was a noisy guest on the room above us who was very upset and made a lot of noise for hours ( from 4am on ). It was impossible to sleep because it was so loud. Other guests also commented on this on the elevator when we were leaving. Because there is no attendant on duty overnight, there was no one available to attempt and address that problem.

Yes, yes. We loved it.
Check in was a lil confusing. They had switched our room as an upgrade from the 2 bedroom, due to not having internet. We were standing at the wrong room trying to enter in our code for about 30 min. We asked to be compensated for the lack of internet, but they declined. All of that aside: The rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent. We werent able to shower or do laundry due to Helene, and were able to clean ourselves, do 8 loads of laundry, and feel human again. Mint house helped raise our spirits, and made returning to no power, no water in Asheville much easier. My only suggestion would be to have better communication.

Hurricane Helene took out our power and I happened upon this gem. Such a great location! The door code that I was given did not work but call to help center answered very quickly and I was able to get in with a new code. The windows need better blinds! It is extremely bright during the day and the unit warmed up fast.

Great property and location. Many shops, restaurants and the Reedy river in close walking distance. Condo was clean and comfortable, beds and bedding were comfortable. You get hotel like amenities with the benefit of having a full kitchen and living area to spend down time with the people you are traveling with when you are not out and about. The only challenges are no market in walking distance and there is not a designated parking garage. There is public parking close by that's only $7 a day. It just a challenge if you tend to pack a lot of bags like I do. They do have a couple luggage carts.

We were honestly so disappointed. It was so uncomfortable, with one worn out smelly old sofa, minimal super dated furniture, no TVs in bedrooms, tiny bath with bedrooms on top of it offering zero privacy, and very loud clunking noise when you use shower. It would be so easy to make this place nice. Just $5k would make it a completely different experience. It just felt dated, uncomfortable and gross. Even the plastic horizontal shades let light in between their broken pieces. Definitely wouldn’t ever go back and feel like we over paid for what we got.

I enjoyed my stay at MintHouse, I was traveling for business trip and felt very welcomed. Only take away would be parking, all they need is a designated parking area.
