This is one of the best hotels in this area of Guadalajara. The staff definitely deserves praise for their hard work in keeping this hotel a gem amongst the central historical area of Guadalajara! We will definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice hotel, but at night the surrounding area was boarded up, and we felt uneasy about going out. There were limited food options in the neighbourhood.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Guadalajara

I give this property a 5 star based on the fact that for the price that is charged you get a comfortable bed, a great location to enjoy the Centro Historico area and to catch Ubers or other transportation and a decent restaurant which we went to for 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner and had decent service as well as tasty food. The reception staff was nice and we enjoyed the friendly welcome from the bellmen/concierge staff. All in all a pleasant stay within a few blocks of the cathedrals, San Juan de Dios Market and the Rotunda of Famous Jaliscans where you can plan and catch tours to places like Tlaquepaque, Tequila and Lake Chapala, or grab an Uber/Taxi to the Zoo/Aquarium about 30 minutes away.

The hotel’s location is walkable to many places within 15-20 mins like downtown, San Juan de dios, plaza tapatía…etc. Room conditions were good, not a 5 star hotel but I love their medium firm bed with soft pillows! Their shower head is like the rain shower from above with nice hot water. A/C works great and the people are very friendly.
