Right in the middle of everything
A good place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of the tourist zone. The room was small with a good bed. We were on the back of the property so we didn't hear the noise of the La Paz Square. But at night, from around 10 to 4:00 am, we discovered we were over a bar, and its blaring music was so loud that it rattled the windows. I had to use my earbuds to drown out the heavy bass.

Excellent location, everything was in walking distance! Breakfast was at a different place (few minutes away) but it was simple and delicious. Our only complaint was that the beds were full size and not queen size (specially when you are sharing with a family member)

Hotel de la Paz is possibly the quietest hotel in the Zona Centro of Guanajuato. The room we stayed in was clean, though a few of the light switches didn’t work. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay there again.

This place is situated in an excellent location with a walking distance to the most important sights and attractions. Friendly staff, the only thing is when I tried to upgrade a room (instead of having a room with no windows to a balcony room, the girl said there were NO more rooms available, but when someone called asking for room availability she said there were balcony rooms available. I could have paid the difference. Other than that the place is amazing, the breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly.

We loved this hotel. It is located in the center of town, a block away from the Universidad de Guanajuato and the Cathedral. We would stay there again in our next trip.

Hotel is just meters from the main histric center. The property is well kept and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served at the other hotel just around the corner and it was very deliciosas and with a great selection of food to choose from. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a great experience our family of 6 stayed here and had a great stay. The hotel is very conveniently located in the historical center, and everything is extremely close and walkable. The hotel was clean, and everything was perfect. They also have air conditioning available, and overall amazing. Highly recommend.
