Good room for a one-night stay.
Overall was a nice hotel for a one night stay. Had a very early flight so chose the hotel based on the location and would do it again if I was to fly out of La Aurora again. Did not explore the area by foot, but there didn't seem to be much around in terms of food options if needed.

Great service. The morning manager helped arrange a cab for me, which was also cheaper and more convenient than Uber (which I find unreliable in Guatemala). The location is close to the airport, but at night you need a cab, although it is expensive ($10) for a drive less than 2kg.

Looks nothing like the photos, rooms have tiled floors that are dirty. Shower was clogged and felt unclean. Bedding felt unclean. This is a hostel, not a hotel.

Homey,authentic Guatemalan stay.Close to airport.
Was a clean, pleasant, authentic Guatemalan stay. We just needed a bed to sleep as we arrived late by air and family picked us up in am. Wasn't easy getting a shuttle from the airport. Cost an extra $30US for the 4min ride, so, not so convenient being super close to airport. Room was noisy with people outside in adjacent driveway till 2am. Breakfast was good.

Very nice and clean overall. It is listed as having free airport shuttle. Upon request they told me I have to pay for the shuttle. Then I present the information listed on the booking that specifically said free. They did pick us up. But then told us they did not have shuttle the day of our departure. Which was an inconvenience.

I am a single white American female from Wyoming who traveled to Guatemala. My Guatemalan adventure spanned over a period of 10 weeks and I was constantly "moving" from place to place. When I arrived at Casa 96, I was absolutely exhausted from my journey. Walking in, I felt peace. The small decorative details, comfy bed and pillows, cleanliness, and the feeling of safety were greatly needed prior to my long flight back to Denver, Colorado. Casa 96 delivered! I want to say...thank you, thank you, thank you Casa 96 for giving me a home that I could rest my exhausted body, mind, and spirit for the evening!!!
