The welcome and breakfast were excellent. It was very quiet and we slept well. The duvet was thin but adequately warm. The deluxe king room was functional nothing fancy and had almost everything we needed. Missing glasses and would be nice to have somewhere to put toiletries etc in the bathroom. The space under the door let light in from the hall all night which could be annoying for some people. Scuff marks on the door and wall could do with painting. The toilet seat was surprisingly very dirty which I mentioned on check-out. Convenient for the town centre and the university. I would stay here again.

Useful

Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Ground floor window security; some shelves or drawer space in all rooms.
Location: Guildford is all hills and not very conducive to travel by public transport at all. By car, fine, though heavily congested.
Good for business or just one night but not good for longer stay - I stayed four nights. No shelves or drawer space for unpacking and only a very few hangers, curtains not light proof, not all rooms have air-con, rooms at the front very noisy - heavy road traffic from 5.30am, ground floor window catches broken and insecure. Staff very efficient but just business-like with no individual care given. No local leaflets or maps available. Breakfast is £10 per day extra!

Pleasant hotel near to station and town centre.

Pros: Good sized room, clean and nice decor.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities and toiletries were scimpy and not replaced.
Location: Really good location. Walking distance from the rail station and the town centre.
Comfortable small hotel. our room was good size, clean and well decorated. Breakfast at £10 is a little expensive.
