The staff did a wonderful job, especially since they had just been hit by a typhoon. There was a lot of damage in the area but the staff did an excellent job to make you feel comfortable and were so friendly. The view from the pool was awesome.

The swimming’s pool water temperature was too cold, the hot spa damaged and closed due to the storms. At the time that I was searched for the Hotels to stay, I didn’t know the surrounding area of the Hotel was so much damaged, it looks like a war zones. So depressing to have the view looking outside of the windows to observe these Terrible views.

We were here when Typhoon Yagi landed at Halong Bay. Watson premium sustained minimal damage as the building is strong and well constructed. Walk away from restaurants, cafes and amenities. Ideal place to stay. Morning breakfast buffet is excellent with many choices of food. Bed is great, room is clean and staff is very friendly. The hotel through Ms Joyce Dang constant communication with me with regard to Yagi typhoon and have us at the basement parking lot for safety. I recommend this place.

The hotel is good, our family did not like the Ha Long Bay tour the hotel offered. The boat contracted with the hotel was old and slow, and the foods on the boat were mediocre. The boat did not take us to several locations mentioned in the tour. It was a disappointing experience.

Terribly dusty. After trying two rooms I believe it was from the aircon which was weak, and needs the filters to be changed however I did find surfaces with a lot of dust. The beds were super hard. Otherwise a solid stay with good service

Everything was good except for the thunderstorms. 2/4 nights had bad loud noises thunderstorms and lasted about 20 to 30 minutes long. It sounded like something or someone got so angry and fighting with each other in the sky. And because of that the power went out a few times, but back on fast. But we did enjoy the city. We did the limestone tour boat ride and city tour bus ride and it was fun. Food was amazing.

The hotel is set up for large coach loads of visitors - lots of Chinese guest when we were there. The staff tend to shout which is unlike most Vietnamese people. The beautiful rooftop pool was spoilt by playing mainly drum and bass with the bass at the maximum level, we bought drinks to sit in the bar but it was so loud we moved to reception. If it were rock music I would have stayed. The rooms are comfortable but you have to request additional pillows (only 1 each provided) toilet roll must be precious as not readily replaced and just 2 tea bags and a ready make coffee mixture that’s so sweet it’s undrinkable. Breakfast had many options but few for a western pallet and the worst coffe I have ever tasted, the breads very good. The staff just don’t really care they say yes as they assume that’s what you want to hear but then don’t do anything, I asked 4 times re noise but no one did anything about it. It’s nearly new so looks great, well situated with many restaurants in walking distance as is the night market but it’s not 5 star standard on service. Great views and comfy bed but I was glad to leave it.
