This use to be one of my favorite hotels in the area, however, this time there was only 1 elevator which was very i convenient and no prior warning about this. in addition our room had no conditioner, the service wasn’t friendly and this stay was just awful

The property has lost its luster, you can tell there’s no investment, the same elevator is out of service a year later. Supplies in the room are not maintained, no body wash, very limited staff. It definitely needs a redo.

Nice spot right downtown and the staff are fantastic. The construction around is really inconvenient. Have to go through the entire mall each time to get out anywhere.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for local attractions, (harbour, restaurants, casino, shopping, Scotiabank Centre), parking is attached to Hotel and was excellent. Although there is heavy construction in the area, access to/from hotel was not an issue.

Normally, I like staying at Hotel Halifax and usually dont have anything negative to say., However with this visit, I wasn’t overly pleased with the room as the actual condition of the room was subpar, I hated the fact that we had a shared door between rooms, our card keys had to be switched out three different times until we had ones that worked. The one working elevator was inconvenient. The outdoor space was terrible, as in midst of construction. And the food from the restaurant was overpriced and not very good.
